I have had this desk for over a year now, and although it has some minor scratches (I believe from me moving it to different rooms and back), it is still a very sturdy desk. Initially, it was difficult to put together; I did get the pieces confused, but it was really easy to put together. It is lightweight, easy to move around, and has a lot of space because of the two tiers. No matter which way you put this desk in your room, either up against the corner, set in the middle, or where you sit behind it facing the door, it aligns fairly easily. I do wish this desk had small storage drawers between the two tiers to hold pens, sticky notes, or other small desk items. I think it would add to the appeal of the desk, instead of having to buy additional storage for those items. All around, great desk for a good price. ... show more

Great desk! Price is excellent for what you get. Very sturdy, I type all day and FAST! Never moves, shakes or feels unsteady. The upper shelf has eliminated my neck pain completely. The ledge is a fantastic place to put sticky notes!

I see a lot of others complaining about the build. Honestly, it took me---an old lady---4 hours, but the instructions were very clear. It's just a lot of pieces, but the instructions made perfect sense. I also had to work in a small spaces I bet under ideal circumstances it's a 2 hour build. However, on one of the main desktops, they did not put a proper screwhole, just the holes. I considered drilling my own but it would likely have gone through the composite. So I glued the top to the metal frame. That's the only reason I can't give 5 stars. The end result is lovely. Absolutely sturdy and beautiful with the lights. Soooo much room for my 3 monitors and a nice mini-monstera plant. ... show more

    • STILL WORKING ON IT
I bought this at the end of Sept and finally found some time to begin assembling. It seems very sturdy (the box weighed a ton!) and it is definitely beautiful (just as pictured). The instructions are the biggest hurdle. There are only pictures, but if you go slowly and study them it will come together. I'm a 71 year-old grandma and, while having an extra hand would definitely help, I have managed to get about half way through the instructions (there are 22 pages--the first 5 are a list of all the parts). I am not thrilled with the partitions that are just above the draw. They just are not functional for my needs. I've decided to not add the partitions as it will not impact the integrity of the unit. As I have not completed the project, I will update my review if I find my 5-stars rating is too high. ... show more
