My last lift top table was alot more wobbly and the wood was pretty thin. I love that this table top is thick and has hardware on the ends to protect it. The sliding doors are a great feautre, the cubbies are nice and deep great for storing, games, toys, yarn, etc. I love it!

I was very excited to order this coffee table, I have wanted a new one for a while. This is styled beautifully and is very well-made. The box is incredibly heavy. It was left on my front door step and I had to wait for my son to get home to help me carry it in. The directions are easy to follow if you go slow and methodically. It did take me a while, about a total of 2.5 hours. I am not mechanically inclined and I did not use an electric drill I did it my hand. At one point the directions ask you to flip it over 180 degrees, I had to pause until my son was home to help me. I also needed assistance with screwing in the top. You must have someone hold the top, while another person screws in the 12 screws. Just know you need help at least twice, maybe three times. This is not a one person job. After it is assembled I am very happy with it. The coffee table has the 'farmhouse' look to it and I love it. ... show more

Ok this wasn’t the easiest thing to put together, it took awhile. It also took two of us and it was more about assembling the top. It’s a heavy coffee table. It is rustic style .

You will need 2 people to assemble this for sure .. too heavy to do with one person I would highly recommend adding additional wood glue to make the table extra sturdy ... Instruction booklet was ok to follow - some of the steps were a little tough to follow - not that easy to aassemble ! I like that the cubbies are sliding and not open out . Very happy ... show more
