The media could not be loaded. The instructions can be a bit overwhelming when you first look at them but it was soooo easy to put together like three hours max. For the price it was a really great deal, is exactly what I needed. A library not too flashy, not too big but still adds a bit of personality to where you put it. This arrived last night, and I was impressed by the quality for the price. Assembling it took a little longer than I would have liked, because I put a couple of boards in the wrong direction and had to redo them, but overall, it was easy to build. Looks great in my space! Very sturdy.

I was surprised at the number of pieces and time to assemble. Pay attention to the part numbers as the backing on alternating sides means there's 2 types of shelves/backs. Went smoothly, but was a good hour. Sturdy and I feel that it could be unassembled and reassembled several times w/o issue. It's tall and the small footprint make it a high risk for tipping. A couple brackets are included for this, but they're a bit bulky and are oversized so might not fit snuggly. I was happy with the gap only because I had a couple items I could put there instead on the wall. Using a typical furniture wall anchor would give a better appearance in most situations. ... show more

Positives: The end product looks somewhat decent and it is sturdy shelving. Negatives: This took me about 2.5-3 hours to put together— and I’ve assembled a lot of furniture. There was a lot of cussing. In the beginning it’s very easy to miss which direction some of the pieces face unless you REALLY look at the details of the illustrations; there’s no text that specifies. I also thought I messed up the order of the shelving because one piece didn’t have screw holes, but I found out that one piece just didn’t have the needed holes added 🥴 so I had to go find different screws to work. Towards the end of assembly, some of the screw holes didn’t line up well and were off just enough to make it even more frustrating to finish. The majority of the screws are allen wrench screws and many are in tight places making it take forever to screw in. I used a drill for most sections but the screws can warp easily and I had to finish the last half inch with the allen wrench anyways. ALSO the coating of the shelves can crack easily. Carefully adding the screws chipped many places that I had to fill in with a marker. There’s also weird skid marks (idk how else to describe it lol) along some outer edges.
