I love for nighttime driving ( which is why I purchased them) really cuts down on light glare without diminishing my vision at night. I have very light sensitive eyes and this has really helped. In the day they work too if glare is a factor on cloudy rainy day and sunglasses make things to dark. I find the photo chromatic part isn’t that great it works but doesn’t get that dark just a light grey so sunglasses would be better. ... show more

The lenses are polarized only just a little. The yellow lenses are good for night time (although better polarization would be better) and they do darken in the sun although it takes a while but do not darken inside a car, limiting their usefulness in daytime

So, I was looking for photochromatic glasses to wear in my motorcycle helmet as current glasses are too big. So, I saw the reviews that stated the darkening didn’t work. Well mine did as you can see. The pictures were from a semi-cloudy part of the day. They were a little darker earlier. So, that aspect of the glasses does work. I own another brand with same ability at $70 but doesn’t darken as much as these do. The clarity is better than I thought as well. Seems they are polished pretty well. I didn’t detect any distortion. I’m not liking the green portion of the glasses as much as I thought I would. Seems a tad dark at normal shade but works for me. Something I can live with. They fit easily in my open face helmet where my half helmet glasses like these were just too big. So, not overly large. They seemed to take longer to return to normal color that turning dark. Could be just me. The only problem I could find are the hard plastic coverings on the temple tips. Should have been rubber instead of hard plastic. The ends seemed kind of jagged but nothing that can’t be fixed with temple tip covers. All in all, a good buy. ... show more

Very good eye wear the only problem I'm having is that when i'm in the sun the lens itself having a very unpleasant smell I don't know what's the cause of that, but otherwise it does what it says and do comes in handy.
