This rope is a good quality and has nicely looped and reinforced ends. It is very convenient for carabiners and can serve a multitude of functions like a dog tie out. It also came in a less common length that was the Goldilocks length I was looking for.

This is a strong rope with some very handy end loops for attaching carabiners and other things to it. However, it isn't really long enough for a lot of practical uses. I should have ordered a longer one. That being said, I will probably use it and just attach it to other ropes to get to the length I need. Good quality and nice to have the included locking carribiners.

This product is a medium heavy rope with looped ends and metal snap clips. The loop is small and reinforced with a plastic liner and is intended to be used with the metal snap clips. It is not a mooring line for a vessel. I used this rope in combination with another rope to guide small trees to the desired landing place when cutting them down. It worked very well for this purpose. However I would not use it as a life-saving device for activities like mountain climbing or parachuting.

it's a static rope with the beginnings of a decent finish. i handle lifesaving ropes and fire ropes, this one does not have that "nice" quality feeling to it. i know that doesn't equate to strength but there's more to a rope than its strength... right? first it's awfully stiff and still retaining many of the bends from the way it was wrapped, i'm re-stuffing it to loosen it up a bit. it's not very soft or supple! it feels pretty plastic-y maybe because of the extra waterproofing? i really don't like the plastic inside the loops. the carabiners are big and should get the job done. but they also aren't anything approaching "nice" with fit or finish. my best aluminum carabiners are silky smooth and a joy to open and close. these hunks of steel have rivets sticking out and there are sharp edges on the outside of the narrow end. I'd like it to hold my bouncing weight but more likely this will just be an occasional hiking/utility/camping rope for me.

I have been a climber for a long long time. I have climbed everything from small rock faces, to tall amateur radio towers and spending alot of time at heights. I have used many different manufactures ropes over the years, Black Diamond etc. This appears to be a well made rope. Only time will tell how well it will hold up.

Ordered this climbing rope as part of a safety kit for carrying in the truck for those just-in-case moments that strike and want to be prepared. Wanted a quality rope that could be used to tie down objects, tie-out a dog or goat or even one of the horses if needed, secure camping equipment in the event of a sudden storm, help someone who is struggling with a hill or ditch and unable to reach them, etc. This rope has a nice feel to the hands and the ends are sewn and wrapped. Very happy with the rope for the purposes It will be used for. The carabiners on the other hand have multiple areas that are sharp. I drew arrows to those locations in the picture. Several of these areas could contact the rope, depending on use, and result in fraying. Also sharp enough to cut hands if gloves are not worn. I will file these down and use them somewhere I don't have to handle them very often. One of them also did not initially seat well when closed, took repeated open/closings for it to seat correctly without help.

I don't climb much but I do hang off houses when I paint eaves and such and it's nice to have a life line you can trust. Luckily I haven't fallen yet, but I have put all my weight on this rope with zero issues of snapping. Great product and comes with a nice bag.

The rope itself is decent enough but the eye splices are sloppy and shielded with shrink wrap that’s not really tight. The hardware is garbage. Cheap, flimsy plastic thimbles can be popped right out of the eye splices easily with your fingers. The carabiners are very shoddy with plenty of rough edges to nick the rope. One of the carabiners won’t open far enough to slip the line inside of it… it’s basically useless…. not that I’d trust such poorly made carabiners to bear the weight of anything important to begin with. I cannot recommend this item at all.
