These flares were pretty simple to install. I installed the without taking off the wheels. The quality was OK. And these are more of a matte black rather than a shiny black. They seem as though they would take paint well and I' considering painting mine. I would have given a much higher rating, had it not been for the driver-side rear flare. This flare is a bit warped and it doesn't still flush to the body of my truck there's approximately a half inch gap between the flare and the truck body. I'd suggest considering a different brand.

2012 Ram 1500 Express. Take your time. Pull off the short factory installed guards front and back. I pulled the factory screws and reused all I could (longer). You will use 3 each (supplied with flares) per side on the front with the supplied retaining clips. At this time I cleaned and waxed the area (three to four inches) that would be covered by the flares (Sorry, OCD kicked in). When you start install be careful, pieces will be hot. Start at the top center and work out each way, but do not fully tighten yet. You will have to push in and up as you go back and tighten up. The rear will have enough factory screws. The front I used the factory screws two on each end and one in the top middle. I used the supplied screws in the rest of the holes in between. Perfect fit with no gaps. Letting them lay in the sun allowed them to "mold" themselves to the body of the truck. You can see in the pictures I did not have to remove the badging. I admit this took a lot more time but they look great.

Excellent perfect fit, screw holes all matched up for 2012 ram 1500 Bighorn. Took about 15 minutes a wheel. I did remove the wheel which made it so much easier but you could do it with them on. No gaps nice and snug to truck. Was a 80 degree day so I let them in the sun for 30 minutes or so first.

Package came the next day and was well packaged. Install took maybe 2 hours. My only wish is that the screws were longer and a big thicker to replace the factory screws but ultimately I just reused the factory screws and it looks amazing. Very subtle and affordable would definitely buy again in the future.
