I would say the color is exactly as advertised and perfectly nice to look at. Of course, they aren’t true wood planks so they are flimsier, but I never set myself up for that expectation. I don’t put anything heavy on it, just some pet supplies I don’t want my bunnies getting into, and it feels pretty sturdy. It was easy to set up and it didn’t have any damage when it came in. As long as you use your tools properly, it should work out fine. It comes with all the screws and wall ports you need and some extras. It also comes with a cute little screw driver and beam level if you don’t have your own tools. It’ll just be a little more difficult.

At first when I opened the box, I didn't like how lightweight the actual shelves are. But once they were anchored and screwed into the wall, they hold up great. The black trophy is not light and I have 100% confidence the shelf will hold up. Great buy!

I purchased 2 sets of these shelves and really like them! They are exactly as pictured, and incredibly light weight. It took me about an hour to install 8 shelves, and add items to them. I made sure they were screwed into a stud but they did provide anchors with the shelf. They hold so many books and they feel very secure so dont let the size and weight fool you. The shelf boards are very soft when you screw them to the brackets so I was a little worried they wouldnt handle the weight of the books and any knick knacks I wanted to add but they are perfect. And I would definitely purchase these again! They are a great way to add extra book space when you dont have space for another bookshelf.

The boards feel a bit weak and very light. I am glad I am using these for light items, as I would not trust it for anything that has a bit of weight. On the flip side, they look wonderful and pretty easy to put together. On the other hand, they were easy to put together only because I put some other shelves together and their instructions were a bit more clear, so I just used those. I would recommend getting them only if they go on sale.

I thought I was getting a dark gray, they're dark brown lmao. One had a broken support, but I flipped it over and that allowed it to work. they're very light, but very very sturdy. Impressed! The nails are long and could drive into the wood, giving extra support and color is still nice even if it's not what I expected. I would buy again.
