A fantastic first board. I started skating a few mo this ago, at around 275 lbs. It had no problems handling my weight at all, which was my main concern. Also, it's a heck of a workout- I've lost nearly 20 pounds! There are some caveats, though. The bearings it came with started to rattle pretty quickly, after a few weeks of use. I replaced them with a cheap set and have had no issues with the board in that regard since. The bushings that come with the board are rather soft for someone of my weight, so I spent about 8 bucks on some real hard bushings and my experience was vastly improved. So, a sturdy board that can support overweight riders. You may need to swap out one or two cheap parts if you are overweight but beggars can't be choosers, and overall this is a really solid board. ... show more

I was looking to get back to skating after being away for considerable years. I was hesitant to build my own setup (and spend the cash) until I knew I'd enjoy skating as much as I once did. My goal was to find an affordable, complete skateboard that I could skate either on the street or at the local skate parks various times throughout the week. Here's what I discovered about the Puente ... First and foremost it's a good value board that will allow you to skate either street or parks with no problem. To date I'm still skating this board; however, I have recently (9/1/18) upgraded the bearings, wheels and replaced the grip tape, which will shed quite quickly. Also the board is setup fairly stiff so take the time to try different settings (tightness, looseness) with the trucks as well as the wheels. The deck appears to be made of good construction, as mine has taken quite a beaten over the last few months and continues to perform admirably. So if you're looking for a good value, entry level board that'll more than handle the rigors of street and park skating, this one is definitely worth a consideration. ... show more

I love this skate board. Im obsessed with skulls and especially ones that look like they are on fire. The image is very detailed and great quality. It rides very smoothly and is very easy to do tricks. Its longer so it fits even me an adult. But will also work for kids. Its not heavy and its easy to carry around even for my 9 year old. I'm a beginner and this board is tolerating my weight and low skill level well. Nice sharp turn radius I think. I'm getting short manuals so far, so not a lot of action on it so far except a small parking lot.

The media could not be loaded. I collect skateboards, and all different shapes and styles. I found this one, with the 31 inch and the smaller wheels and just had to give this one a try. I was not dissapointed, this one flys with my 190 lbs and left tight turns are hard and this one just glides through them. Hard to show this one with pics, so I did a video to show how nice this one really is. Good quality anti slip tape and the board is perfectly shaped from one end to the other too.
