I bought this Yeti to take on hikes. While in Yosemite, it was in my small backpack when I lost my balance climbing over large boulders and I fell backwards. I fell all the way down on my back. Well, since the Yeti was in my backpack, it took the brunt of the impact on the boulder! Yes, I was hurt, but I believe it could’ve been a lot worse than it was if not for my Yeti! Oh, and the Yeti did not suffer any damage - not one ding or scratch! I’m a Yeti fan for life. Aside from the sturdiness, it keeps my water nice and cold and ice cubes last a long time.
