I bought several brands of travel mug & YETI was the only one that checked every box. It’s the best bar none. Some other brands I bought weren’t cheap but were cheaply made & their lids cracked after little usage or they didn’t have good enough insulation & didn’t keep beverages hot. I loved my Contigo until I hated it when I found cleaning it is beastly if you use milk or half & half. I’d clean it for 20 mins & often it would still smell awful & musty upon sipping because residue gets stuck in all the tiny places under the lid (cleaning it took a min of 20 mins & I had to buy tiny little bottle brushes & use safety pins etc). YETI kept the coffee HOT, takes under 60 seconds to clean, holds a huge cup of coffee or tea, and it is comfortable ergonomically. It fits into my car holder & is very sturdy. It also looks good. I had a few Thermos 20oz cups and they work great, but all the parts that need cleaning are a pain, plus every day when I cleaned my cup, I would have to fight to get the dish rag to the bottom of cup. Not so, with the Yeti, and this cup doesn't seem like I'm drinking out of a metal thermos like Stanleys and Thermos cups. Plus, the Thermos gets compromised with age, because the rubber seal that goes around the cup, becomes weak and coffee begins to slowly leak. Will the Yeti have similar issues with leaking? I don't know yet, because I haven't had it very long, but all in good time. I guess! ... show more

I’ve wanted a stainless steel cold/heated cup for awhile in my lifestyle . It’s a fit. Durable, no spillage, and easy to carry. I’ve given it 4/5 stars because I was REALLY hoping it would keep my ice in drinks formed for at least 8 hours like it was advertised. It lasts a good 6hours.
