I have bought several of these over the past year for use in making the floor of my attic more appealing and clean. They are (maybe obviously) easy to assemble. They do have a 'grain' direction, so to make it look best you have to pay attention to which direction you place each tile. The only thing I don't really like is all the leftover edge pieces. The pieces don’t fit appropriately when it comes to the edges- so you will have some overlapping parts which can easily trip people. I bought them to put on my carpet flooring but it was not the best idea because it has a foam base and very soft surface. It doesn’t provide even level and it keeps slipping off here and there. Returned it.
