    • Great product, just make sure to attach correctly.
I've used these for the past 20 years, they work as they should, but you have to do a little extra to work correctly. First, don't bother with the adhesive caulk, its does nothing. Second, make your pilot hoses in the poly so it's a little sloppy on the bolts. This is to let you flex the shield tight against the plow. And third, most important, you have to put some small bolts along each outside edge of the plow, at least 3 a side. This is because if you're plowing heavy, hard snow, or moving big piles, you'll jam the snow into that edge, and lift the shield off the plow, and most likely tear it. I learned this years ago when it happened to me. Like I said, the adhesive caulk is useless. ... show more

Works great so far. Plowed 3 driveways and it did what it was supposed to do. Followed simple directions to install. New life for an old Meyers plow.

when it arrived I was not sure it would even work. it is 1/3 as thick as the one I was replacing but I have used it since and it works fine

Read reviews that discussed plastic being thin and ripping right away. Went the extra mile to place the plastic under the cutting edge, added many extra bolts with wide washers along edges as well as the top and used all the silicon caulking. Still ripped with half a days use. Poly is too light and thin to hold up at all. ... show more

Great renewal of plow face. Provided carriage bolt not a good idea with the use of provided nylock nut, (square head can't bite plastic enough to keep from spinning. Still great product.
