As you can see, this is an excellent table bookshelf. I live in a studio and ran out of space for book cases, so i bought this, as my table was the last place for me to add another book display lol. The top 2 shelves do bend downwards just a bit under the weight, so i placed books underneath them that would give them support to extend the longevity of the shelf. If u aren't an obsessive collector of books like i am, this shelf will handle any small collection of books VERY well. It's especially useful if you're limited on space. I am really putting it to work, and it's doing great. I'd buy another and fill that one too if i had another table to put it on lol. I love looking at my lovely, organized, PILE of books every day :) ... show more

Using this to display books like the picture. It's stayed together and has held up so far! One of the shelves looks a tiny bit tilted, so not sure I could fit another book on it, but overall looks good!

Like other reviewers mentioned, some of the screw holes weren't properly drilled so I had to force some of the holes, and it took quite a bit of time. Also the planks/shelves themselves are pretty scratched up. Honestly it gets the job done, so I'm keeping it, but I would definitely use this for a dorm or a temporary fix due to the rough quality of it. ... show more

    • Original AND Replacement damaged/defective

First of all, the product arrives in it's original crappy box with terrible foam; the Amazon label is just stuck on the outside. The first order arrived in terrible shape & when opened, all 3 of the longer sides had damaged corners. The replacement arrived in the same style, but this time the box had a huge scratch dent on it...not the best thing to see. Upon picking up the package I heard screws rattling around. Yup, the bag of screws had ripped from the bottom and were sliding around...scratching one of the small shelves. The included screwdriver/s plastic handle portion was also cracked in half. The shelves themselves are terrible. Almost every shelf in both shipments had some sort of scratch, dent or gunk stuck on them. One small shelf even looked faded compared to the rest, as if it was left out in the sun. Every corner has a thin white line that is very apparent. I didn't see this in the product picture, so if that's supposed to be the style, it's my fault but it's ugly. Finally, the thin, cheap foam blocks surrounding the shelves in the package arrived in tiny pieces stuck to everything with their annoying static cling. Not sure how it's supposed to protect the shelves. Oh & there is no thin foam or even wax paper in between the shelves when packed. I. Do. Not. Recommend. These. I should've taken photos before sealing them back up, dang it. ... show more
