The idea here is great being able to adjust multiple different angles and heights. Unfortunately, the 1 inch piece that connects the base to the adjustable arm broke within the first 5 minutes of use and sent my phone falling and ended up cracking my screen. The entire assembly was rendered useless because of a 5¢ part. Upon further inspection, the piece that broke uses tiny plastic male threads that are supposed to screw into metal threads and hold the weight of the rest of the rig. I don’t see how this would ever hold. Terribly cheap design. All other functions are actually pretty good and seem to be built half decently. Good lighting with easy remote control. The fulcrum arm works well when able to use too.

I got this lamp to help with content filming. It's not bad but the base isn't heavy enough. The whole thing falls over if you extend the lamp arm too far. It holds my phone securely and doesn't droop. I was able to work with that, but today the light started flickering and now I can't use it at all.

I've had 2 other ring lights, and I should have just gotten this one first. It's brighter than my previous. It's so easy to set up and move around. I love it.

It is a decent product, but it is a little bit expensive. Let me start from the bottom up. The base is all metal and heavy, it stabilizes your phone but no heavier than that. so, if you are planning to use it with a screw in camera such as Canon EOS R100 or similar cameras of that sort; then forget about it, unless if you don't extend the neck outward then you should be fine. Next, the rod is made of metal and no problem with it extends pretty tall. Next, the neck is pretty decent, you can do whatever you want with it, I would say it is amazingly flexible. Next part is the ring light, it is made from plastic, and I don't expect it to be made from heavier materials, otherwise the base will not hold the phone and the ring if they are heavy. The good thing is if you don't want to use the ring light you can detach it and use the extra phone holder that comes with it. Another thing that I didn't like is that the cable is short and has a USP ending, so if you want to put it somewhere high you will need an extension cord to plug it in. Overall, the product serves the purpose and does what it is supposed to do. If you don't mind the small details, then this product is right for you. It is nicely adjustable, smooth, and stable. I Think, I am going to keep it.
