It does the job, for the price. Worth using a power drill, it’s tough to screw manually. The screws also indent into the wood once screwed in, they’re not level with the surface. Most odd is the top table legs aren’t screwed to the bottom table with the drawer, which I don’t love - they provide round pads to stick on the legs so it doesn’t slip around too much. The pads are wider than the legs themselves so they stick out, but you could trim them. I decided to keep it anyway and will get wood glue or something. ... show more

    • Really cute but terrible design
The product is super cute but poorly designed. First it came with an Allen wrench despite having Phillips screws. Then it was missing the block in the middle separating the middle. The top just sits on the bottom. So it is not sturdy at all. Incredibly cute but doesn’t make sense.

I guess that I didn't realize that this is solid bamboo, my cutting board is the same size as the top piece and it was more expensive then this whole set up. Great price. Easy to assemble but it is best to have 2 people if you are a klutz like me as you need to balance the legs and the shelfs to screw them together.     • Sturdy with imperfect legs
Both tables are very sturdy. There are several legs that have dried translucent patches (glue?) and minor chips but aren't too noticeable.

    • Not a good choice
I have a few problems with the table. First, I though that the two pieces would connect somehow but they don't. I had to get double sided tape so the top piece doesn't fly off every time it's accidentally bumped or brushed against. Second, the staples used to hold the drawer face to the drawer were not long enough and the drawer face just, fell off! I haven't tried to fix that I'm so agitated with this piece. This seemed like a good side table. It came with 12 of the same sized screws to assemble it with simple instructions but when I got to the second step I realized the back support beam needed longer screws. The rest seemed to have been able to set up perfectly. But I was unable to finish setting the table up so I’m returning. ... show more
