    • Yaqin B-2T Vacuum Tube Preamplifier
I used this preamplifier with solid state and tube amplifiers. The sound is natural and detailed, with plenty of drive to control low impedance amplifiers similar to one class A stereo amplifier I listen to. Using tube rectification is a big plus adding yet another variable to tailor the sound. Source selection is logic controlled. The remote control is solid machined aluminum further complimenting the build of the preamplifier. I own three Yaqin products and all are well built including hand built transformers, Alps potentiometers, Nichicon, Rubycon, and Chemi-con capacitors.     • Nice design, poor quality control
Very pretty piece. Was hoping sound would get better after I got some hours on it, but I'll never know since it started having issues after just a few hours. The first issue I noticed was that there was an imbalance in the volume control(one side plays ever so slightly louder than the other). I still liked the preamp well enough that I was going to just do an exchange, but then I started getting random buzzing and popping in the sound. Went back to my other tube preamp($300ish from China) and I was hard not to notice that the $300 actually sounded better than this. Not worth exchanging. Returned. ... show more

    • Great deal for your money
The Preamp is nicely made, does not look cheap. Is built solid. Tubes are upgraded already. The bass and highs are very crisp. What a difference from my previous preamp.
