When I ordered these I thought the stars were like silver stars but they are actually cut outs for the light to slightly shine through. My daughter thinks it's the coolest thing. It provides some blackout with a touch of light.

I was worried those bows in the picture were attached, but they are optional. My 5 year old literally fell over when I put these up. The edges have a lace detail. I like the weight and style, and the curtain itself is adorable, but I’m pretty disappointed in the fact that it came with dozens of snags and small holes in both layers right out of the package. Especially at over $20 per panel, this is a huge disappointment.
