Great for plates but if you have several tea cups or cutlery, you'll be challenged to find a place for them to rest on the rack. So this fits a very narrow purpose. We replaced it for a more practical solution from Ikea after a few months.

This is my favorite dish rack ever. It’s as lovely in person as it is in photos and I love that the tray doesn’t have ridges so water doesn’t collect making it harder to get rid of hard water stains. I love the look of this rack but it has several drawbacks. First, the rack is a lot larger and taller than anticipated. It physically and visually takes up a lot of kitchen space. Secondly the spacing between the rack is so close and shallow so this would only be useful if you mainly use slim dishes only. Finally the black rack is pretty but it leaves very visible water stain that I can’t get rid of. The plus side to this rack (besides its design) is it’s surprisingly sturdy for a plastic rack. I’ve placed large Staub glass and cast iron lids at the top and it held up just fine. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this rack. ... show more

It's a nice dish rack and cool design but it's not the bleach white you see in the pictures. Something to note. If you place larger dishes in the top section your cabinet doors will most likely hit if/when you open doors. I use my drying rack frequently, so it's out all the time. I like how the black blended in beautifully on the dark granite countertop. I have a small kitchen, so I loved the small footprint of this. Even though I measured in advance and had sufficient vertical space, the height of it made it look oversized for the room. Because of this, I reluctantly returned it. 5 stars for looks, 1 star for practicality. There is nowhere to put silverware. We have only been using this for two months and have already broken two bowls, since there is no way to secure them and they roll off easily. The only thing this really works for is plates.
