I read about this in the NYT & thought it would be perfect on my refrigerator. It arrived quickly & was packaged well. I assembled it as shown as one piece. It worked fine but looked terrible & didn't function well on my fridge side wall. Undaunted I decided to separate the two halves & mount them separately over the sink. This worked perfectly. Picture one is my 1st trial & picture 2 is the final project completed. It's working fine & hasn't given me a moment's regret since I put it up. It is magnetized so it sticks to a fridge. The media could not be loaded. i keep 4 rolls of kitchen stuff on this things. one of them is a commercial sized roll of parchment paper that will be around longer than me and weighs about the same. i accidentally dropped the box and roll of paper down into lts home on this and assumed the whole thing was about to come crashing down. it did not. big fan ... show more

I love organizational stuff! I’m not the most organized person, but I have goals :) I had all of my plastics wraps, bags and foils in a cabinet. The wraps were on the bottom shelf and the bread was kept on the top two shelves. Every time someone would get bread, it was a gamble if the wraps would tumble out and maybe knock their drink over they had set on the counter. None of the organization stuff for wraps would work for our small house-most of them were meant to go in cabinets (too small!) or countertops (no room!) . And then I came across this! Oh my god y’all. This is the best thing I’ve ever bought from amazon. I mean it! Just look at those pictures! No more avalanches of wraps falling from the cabinets, no more clutter and loose baggies floating around with the boxes, no more knocking everything out when you just needed one baggie! This is one of those things that are so perfect you wonder why they haven’t been around for years? Surely other people hated dealing with “the wraps”? I’m just glad someone made something like this-everything I had fit in there perfectly. I am currently looking for trash bags that do not have bags all the way to the middle of the roll so that I can put them on the bottom arm of the shelf-now that would be perfection!!     • Sturdy but packed poorly, so arrives bent and missing hardware. Hook spacing is too close together.
I ordered this twice. Once from Amazon Warehouse and once new. Overall I like it. It's useful for putting commonly used kitchen items nearby. But regardless of if you buy it new, it's packaged extremely poorly. The hooks get bent just from transit, although you can bend them back. There's also technically screws that come with it so you can attach the two pieces together. Again because of the poor packaging I've never gotten all the necessary screws in one go. It looks like you may be able to connect them with hard drive screws if you have any lying around. There's a reason in the pictures the hooks are never fully utilized. The way they're spaced items like spoons/ladles/spatulas can't be hung from each hook. If you try they'll overlap onto each other and you end up knocking them off when you remove or place an item on the hook. Since you can't use every hook, it would have been more useful if they included one less hook, but spaced them out more reasonably. The magnets are strong, it's cheaper than similar products, and you can take care of little annoyances like bent metal or replacing the screws yourself without too much hassle. Overall still a 4/5 product IMO, but the hook spacing can really annoy you if you're OCD. ... show more

I like this product for what it is - a magnetic storage solution for paper towels, a few most commonly used seasonings, and even some cooking items that can be hung. I haven’t had trouble getting paper towel off, but I hold the roll while I rip off a sheet. Mindfulness is likely important, here. Because of my tiny kitchen, I had to improve with how to hang it on my fridge, so it’s lower than I’d like. Still, it has hooks for my tea balls, rice cooker paddle, a silicone basting brush, and a bottle opener. All for good! I did not screw the two together. Yet. Maybe at some point, but I headed other reviewers who said the two connected felt less stable. Each part has its own magnet, so for now I treat them as (perfectly lined up w/ the screw holes) separate shelves. Overall I am pleased! ... show more
