I’m particular about my golf clubs. I’ve always used name brand clubs because I have been taught you get what you pay for. In this day and age, the pricing of equipment is outrageous. I needed new wedges. I’ve sent my old ones off twice now to be refaced. It’s time for a new set but I’m on a budget. I think TaylorMade has some of the best equipment but I need three new wedges and I can’t afford that. One wedge from TaylorMade is $160 or more, and I need three. I did some searching and came across this brand. I made sure of two things: 1) They were forged. 2) the face had to be milled. I have to say I am very very impressed. Maybe it’s because the face is brand new but I’m getting my shots to be extra spinny. Which if I am playing with other people makes me look super cool. The clubs are very light weight than my old ones so I’m adjusting to different distances (I am now hitting these wedges longer than my old ones). I’m also into the flashy fashion and with the blue grips it makes me love them even more. I get solid contact and after putting in 15+ rounds I haven’t seen any damage to the club or to the paint or finish. They are holding up very nicely. If you are in search of new wedges but don’t want to pay for the name brand, these are a great place to start. ... show more

This is the second set I have in play. One for travel clubs - one for daily use. These play as well as more expensive wedges and can be replaced more frequently as I play daily and go through clubs faster than most recreational golfers.

$125 for 3 wedges....saw these while scrolling through Amazon and was interested because they are full faced wedges. Figured, 3 wedges for the cost of just 1 name brand wedge and with full face grooves to boot, couldn't go wrong even if I hated them(can just give it away). Needless to say, I just played a round with them and they performed better than expected! Pitching, chipping, flop shots, the grooves on these wedges and the sole grind(kinda C-grind w/ heal toe relief) really performed well. Could make the ball stop on a dime, or pitch with braking and release action! Only thing I didn't care for, was that it felt lite, so I put it on a swing weight scale and they came in at D2. I'm a club tinkerer, so I'm going to pull it apart and tip weight it to make it D4-D5....most of you can just add some lead tape to the back of it, but I don't want to cover up the skull on the back of it. ... show more

These are nice looking wedges. Things I like: ** Grip is Yamato midsize, so bonus for me -- I had planned to regrip to midsize anyway. This Yamato grip is similar to the feel of a Golf Pride Tour Velvet. It's round (no rib) and feels pretty good. ** Looks like a decent shaft. Steel, and stepless. ** Deep, uniform grooves and milling on the face looks sharp and consistent. Watch out for: ** Lofts were off on the wedges I received: 52* (measured 54*), 56* (measured 59*), and 60* (measured 62*). ** Lie angles on the 52* and 60* were off too -- all were supposed to be 64*; 52* was 2* upright and 60* was 1* upright. ** When I bent the wedges back into spec, I found they were a little tough to bend. Listing says they're made from "forged carbon steel". While I don't doubt that, these wedges were more challenging to bend than quality forged irons like Hogan or Mizuno. Not buttery at all. My guess is these forgings have a higher carbon content to give the grooves and milled surfaces a little more longevity; the downside is the steel feels firmer. I guess that's why the wedges feel a little 'clicky' to me when struck. ** Additional Specs: - 52*: 468g total weight / D3 swingweight / 35.375" length - 56*: 474g total weight / D3 swingweight / 35.375" length - 60*: 476g total weight / D3 swingweight / 35.125" length ... show more

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these. I hadn't had a new set of clubs in over 20 years. I recently got new clubs and needed wedges as well but didn't want to pay vokey $$. These have the bite, at a much better price point. I have only played two round so far, but I am finding the shot control to be there and am loving the spin around the greens. These are not full-faced as advertised; I got a replacement set sent to me for that reason. Unfortunately, the ones sent are also not full-faced wedges. With that being said, these are pretty nice wedges, they feel good, and produce straight shots hence why I'm not going to ask for a refund.

I'm using it more for a pitching wedge than a sand wedge wedge. Works pretty good to lift the ball high in the air around the green.
