These are good wedges with deeply grooved faces and decent grips. The bounce varies with loft, less bounce with greater loft but they aren't labeled. I'd guess the 54 is about a 12 degree and the 58 is about a 10 degree. Turf interaction is good, I haven't noticed a tendency for the leading edge to dig excessively. The strength of the these wedges is the aggressive face grooves that grab the ball and can produce loads of spin. YMMV, as with any golf club, contact is everything. They aren't the softest feeling wedges but a very affordable alternative if you want to three lofts for less than the price of a single major brand wedge. ... show more

This is the second set I have in play. One for travel clubs - one for daily use. These play as well as more expensive wedges and can be replaced more frequently as I play daily and go through clubs faster than most recreational golfers.

I’m particular about my golf clubs. I’ve always used name brand clubs because I have been taught you get what you pay for. In this day and age, the pricing of equipment is outrageous. I needed new wedges. I’ve sent my old ones off twice now to be refaced. It’s time for a new set but I’m on a budget. I think TaylorMade has some of the best equipment but I need three new wedges and I can’t afford that. One wedge from TaylorMade is $160 or more, and I need three. I did some searching and came across this brand. I made sure of two things: 1) They were forged. 2) the face had to be milled. I have to say I am very very impressed. Maybe it’s because the face is brand new but I’m getting my shots to be extra spinny. Which if I am playing with other people makes me look super cool. The clubs are very light weight than my old ones so I’m adjusting to different distances (I am now hitting these wedges longer than my old ones). I’m also into the flashy fashion and with the blue grips it makes me love them even more. I get solid contact and after putting in 15+ rounds I haven’t seen any damage to the club or to the paint or finish. They are holding up very nicely. If you are in search of new wedges but don’t want to pay for the name brand, these are a great place to start. ... show more

These are really as good as you're going to get in this price range or even anything under probably $600 per set. I got the 52/56/60 set. Played with them a bit as is but ended up putting different shafts (and grips) on them. Just some from an old name brand set I had. I REALLY LOVE THEM NOW. I bought these on a whim because I liked the look and the price. I'm a 9 handicap, but I didn't want to spend $180 per wedge with one of the big brands as I needed to update from my Taylormade 3 wedges. The good: The spin is real. Not sure if these are conforming, but I'm averaging roughly a 9500 spin rate, which is similar to my premium wedges. Green side and bunker, they really do spin. They also have a nice feel. The bad - part 1: Out of the box, they looked great! Love the design and color, which is different than any clubs I've owned before, but after half of my first round these looked like clubs I've had in my bag for 2 years. Cosmetics don't last, but I guess for the price you can't complain too much. They still perform, but look terrible. It's a shame. The bad - part 2: Go to your local golf shop and check the degree of each wedge. All three we off by two degrees, so I had to have each of them bent. These not being premium clubs, you have to be very careful when you have them bent because they can break easily. Tell your club maker that before they start the process. I got lucky and they didn't break, but I couldn't get them to the exact degrees I wanted them to. Again, not the worst, but certainly not the best. You always pay for what you get. This is a great product. I play a lot of golf and replace my wedges every 6-10 months so the price is right and they give me as much spin and control as any major brand club that I have had in the past.
