Yamaha YEV105 Pro Electric 5-string Violin - Deep Red/Black

An Electric Violin That Traditional Players Will Love Who says that acoustic violinists need to sacrifice performance to go electric? Certainly not Yamaha. Case in point: the YEV105 Pro. For starters, this 5-string electric violin’s hollow body structure yields a powerful resonance and responsive playability on par with its acoustic ancestors. Furthermore, the YEV105 Pro’s Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.)–treated maple bridge exhibits sonic characteristics akin to aged wood, captured beautifully by the instrument’s built-in piezo pickup. Traditional players will appreciate the YEV105 Pro’s stylish multilayered design, which gives it a weight comparable to an acoustic 5-string violin and ensures an attention-grabbing presence onstage. Finally, you get Wittner Finetune pegs with internal gears, providing you with lightning-fast, ultra-precise tuning — even in the midst of a performance. Complete with an eye-catching electroformed scroll logo, the Yamaha YEV105 Pro supplies acoustic violinists with a familiar playing experience using a completely electric platform.Mirrors
