I love Yamaha. This is my third Yamaha kit and it's outstanding. Sounds incredible. I bought the fusion setup with the 20" bass and 14" floor tom. It sounds incredible, tunes up easily, and holds its tune. I did change the heads, but probably didn't need to. Yamaha hardware is rock solid also and I love the Yess tom mounting system. I bought the chocolate brown finish and it's beautiful. It's not glossy, but I think it looks understated and classy. For me, Yamaha provides incredible value for the money. It costs just a little more than a top of the line Pearl set I bought over 40 years ago. I highly recommend this kit. ... show more

Very nice set of drums for the money. They sound great and tune easily. Finish is superb ans well as the quality. Arrived in one heavy weight box. No damage was present. I received my Yamaha drum set today, only to find a large scratch on the bass drum upon opening the box. Following Amazon’s guidance, I contacted Yamaha directly, but they were extremely rude and unhelpful, stating there’s nothing they can do and that I shouldn’t have purchased a drum set from Amazon. This is the fourth drum set I’ve bought, and I’ve never encountered such issues or been treated so poorly. I attempted to reach out to Amazon customer service but found the process confusing and difficult to navigate. I don’t want to return the entire set, but I do expect a resolution to this unacceptable situation. If someone from Amazon could assist me, it would be greatly appreciated. ... show more

This is a very fun drum kit to play. The bass drum sounds amazing with the Remo Powerstroke heads. Absolutely amazing . The fit and finish is great . A very refined set. Definitely worth the money . The fusion sizes are quite nice. Set it up and have tons of fun playing this . You won’t regret it .

Nice drum set--well made, attractive. It has little spikes at the end of the bass drum supports--you can actually see them in the photo but I didn't notice. I'll put some rubber or velcro under them since I have a tiled floor. I was disappointed that there were no instructions, no identification of parts, nothing. Well, I managed OK without, thanks to internet; and I have finally figured out that this is the industry standard (after I gave one drum giant a bad review for lack of instructions). Maybe drummers are supposed to be tough guys, play hard ball, and you sink or swim. I'm a woman and find the lack of instructions weird, unfriendly, inconvenient. ... show more
