Rock solid, man. Easy to adjust. Easy to fold when your headed to gigs. Doesn't tip, slide, or shake. Very comfy. Looks pro. Perfect place to park your ass during those long, obsessive keyboard composing and recording sessions. Can't complain about the price either.

Even though there are some pretty negative reviews on this Padded Keyboard bench, I find it to be an exceptional value and quality. And yes, it is made in China. Which most things are now. But it doesn't distract from the quality of this bench whatsoever. It's very sturdy. I weigh right at 190lbs, and it supports me easily. The padding is thick and very firm. The seat adjust to three different height settings. And quite easily. No assembly is required either other than when you take it out of the box, one side of the legs are made to fold up. There are two adjustable screws that tighten holding the legs firmly in place. And once tightened, they aren't coming loose unless you unscrew the tightening bolts to fold the bench up for portability. The seat measures 17" x 12". I use a standard adjustable Keyboard stand, and this Bench works perfectly in both height and comfort. I have no problem at all giving this a 5 star rating for overall quality and value. ... show more

The picture is misleading. It looks like there are two in the package. There is only one. It is a nice stool. It is sturdy and folds well. Now I have to order another. Just disappointed the cost is double what I expected for what my needs are. But that’s my bad for not paying closer attention. I purchased it for an arcade table. I've been using the Yamaha PKBB1 Adjustable Padded Keyboard X-Style Bench for a while now, and it's been a great choice for me, especially for the price. The thick padding is comfortable, even during long practice sessions, and the adjustable height is a big plus for finding the perfect playing position. It folds up easily for storage and transport, which is perfect if you gig or move your keyboard around a lot. While some users have mentioned that the seat can be a bit firm, I haven't found that to be a problem myself.     • You Won't Crash to the Floor With This Bench
This is a great piano bench if you intend to replace the polyurethane foam with real foam, like I knew I would have to do before I bought it. But this is the same polyurethane-seat-scam that's been used for decades. That stuff always holds you up for a few weeks and then you are sitting directly on the hard surface. They used to put HARD polyurethane foam in this bench to make sure it supported you until at least after the return period, lol but some reviewers complained that this bench was "hard as a rock." NOW this bench has SOFT polyurethane that doesn't even hold you up for three days. So all you have to do, and YES it's worth it for this bench, just order real foam rubber, (firm,) cut to the dimensions required. If you do that, you'll be happy with the whole thing that's for sure. UPDATE: Natural latex foam rubber, medium-firm, cut to size for this bench, just cost me $60. More than twice what this great bench costs. So that's why they put worthless poly-foam in it, who would buy this bench for so much money. And yet, if you are going to sit on this bench for several hours a day, real foam rubber is the only way to go. ... show more
