When my ligature arrived it was smashed flat. It was shipped in the same package with a saxophone stand which crushed the ligature during shipping. It is a pretty gold color and has printed on one of the flat sides "Alto Sax USA". That's all I got!

The ligature that came with my saxophone was too malleable and would not hold a consistent shape. I bought this along with the Yamaha 4c mouthpiece. The quality of sound from my sax has improved greatly, and the notes are much easier to produce now.
