  • A beginniers keyboard with all the fixings
Style: 61-key
Very easy-to-use beginner 61 key keyboard and not a lot of tweaking of buttons when editing. Love the articulation knobs & arpeggiator features for tweaking sound on the fly. Great EQ sound. The microphone processor and effects are excellent. Least favorite is that when pressing the fill-in button, it switches the main style from variation A to B. Does not have a built-in sequencer. Some of sounds & styles are a bit primitive within the sound engine. The sampling pads records up to a 10 seconds looped sample and doesn’t quantize with music styles you’re using. Can only record your creations onto a flash drive. Can be used as a midi controller for your DAW system. Other than that, best bang for the buck to get anybody’s starting to play, sing and create.✌️ ... show more

  • Great quality for the price.
Style: 61-key
I bought this as a backup keyboard for gigs. I have been using a Yamaha P121 (purchased in 2019). About 6 or so keys froze up before a gig earlier this month. I replaced it with a Yamaha PSR EW 410. Similar to this but with 76 keys. I bought this one used. 2 knobs are missing, but otherwise the instrument is in great shape. A few sounds are different. It interfaces with my computer (for Finale notation) much better than the Korg it replaced. The piano sound is good. I especially like voice number 13, which bears the name C!StcsEP. Convincing. Best of all, this instrument costs less than $400, and I could play a gig with it. ... show more

  • The Swiss Army Knife of Affordable Keyboards
Style: 61-key
No keyboard is perfect, but this one is VERY close. If I had to find something to be critical of, it might be the look and feel of the surface of the keys. Very, uh, plastic. But, hey, that's what they are, right? Other than that, this thing has the goods for pro performance and recordings, in my opinion. Really? With just 61 keys? Yes. Really. The conveniently placed octave shift buttons are a game changer. Unless you play modern classical or are doing a lot of keyboard splitting, 61 keys is actually enough now with that feature. Are some of the 820 sounds cheesy? Sure. But occasionally that's what is needed. And the easy, quick buttons and knobs for adding chorus, reverb, and up to two DSP effects at a time mean that even the cheesier sounds can instantly be turned into very useful ones on the fly. Maybe one day there will be a better do-all keyboard in this price range. But that day is not today. (June 2022.) ... show more

Great keyboard but sadly the manual is very limited on how to use and what all the buttons do.
