Tape lifts the eye lids well. Tape stays on all day and evening, comes off with water. They are much better than getting surgery.

    • Better Directions Needed, but Product Worked Well
We used this siphon to move gas from our portable boat gas tanks to our car. It was a little tricky to get the boat tank high enough above the car gas cap, and positioned correctly to avoid having too much of an uphill bend where the siphon hose exits the opening to the tank. It would have been impossible without a 6 foot high platform to position the boat tank and two people. When we finally got those conditions corrected, the siphon worked great. I think some tips for use would be helpful. Kind of a big picture view of the conditions necessary for a siphon to work. The video was a much simpler task and didn't help with the big picture of the conditions that can make it fail. This is the one you want. I just got mine and tested it. It works great and the info you will read about the quality of the hose is real. This one is worth a few extra bucks for the quality of that hose, trust me. I also bought the one that Home Depot sells because I needed an extra piece of hose. The hose on that one is stiffer than a board. However, with a coupler, I now have a 12' hose, which is perfect for my use. In the future, I will see if I can buy a 12' hose from these guys. I absolutely recommend this one! Buy it, you won't be sorry. Empties my 6 gallon can into my tank in about 2 minutes flat. Update 10-05-2016: Just got back from hunting and got a chance to use this in the wild. As in my testing in the driveway, this thing works great! It worked so well, in fact, that my hunting partners each ordered one, too. It solves a lot of problems with the crap spouts that come on the plastic gas cans. Just put the can up higher than the gas cap (in my case, on the cargo rack of my SUV), shake a few times, and you can drink a beer while you fill up the tank. No mess, no spilled gas, no BS.     • Super Easy Siphon Hose needed to do simple task of putting gasoline into Work Equipment caused by Politicians
I have it in a timely manner. It looks quality made. It may be a few weeks before I need to fill mowers with gas. I need an easier way to pour gas into mowers then these terrible spring loaded spouts that are on gasoline storage cans. Why would engineering be so terrible ? Twist or push on pour spouts is terrible. It CAUSES problems by the terrible design. Does not speak well for designers and engineers, if what we have is the best they can do. Larry ... show more

Sort of felt like an idiot buying one gallon of this to be shipped, but I couldn't get fluid any other way. It's the proper blue, (never liked the pink), and it works fine. Shipped well, without leaks or damage, which was a pleasant surprise. Note that this is not for winter freeze use.

    • You may encounter a problem trying to siphon water close to freezing temperature.
We have two 8’ long raised planters on our rear deck that we cover with tarpaulins during the winter. During the winter, snow and rain forces the tarps down onto the soil in the planters, which, in the spring, results in many gallons of water having to be removed before the tarps can be lifted off. The water temp was in the 30’s F when I tried to siphon it out. I found that unless I preheated the siphon pump in hot water, the ball valve would stick in the closed position which prevented the siphoning action from starting. I’m sure that if the air temp had been 5 to 10 degrees warmer, there would have been no problem. ... show more
