YakAttack 16” x 19” Landing Net - Snag-Free Catch and Release Net

Q: What makes this landing net different from traditional nets? A: The soft rubber netting is truly snag-free, preventing hooks from embedding or tangling. It cradles fish securely while reducing injury, making it perfect for catch-and-release anglers. Q: Does the handle float if it falls into the water? A: Yes, the entire net weighs only 1.4 lbs. and floats if dropped overboard, giving anglers confidence that it won’t be lost while fishing from kayaks, boats, or piers. Q: How long is the handle, and does it adjust? A: The telescoping anodized aluminum handle extends from 29.5” collapsed length to 45.25” fully extended, providing reach when needed while remaining compact for storage. Q: What species of fish will the 16” x 19” x 11” hoop accommodate? A: The net is versatile enough for a wide variety of species, including bass, trout, and inshore redfish. Its balanced size offers secure landings without being cumbersome in tight spaces. Q: Is the net deep enough for larger fish? A: The 11” depth is designed to balance easy handling with reduced tangling on kayaks. For anglers targeting larger fish, YakAttack is exploring deeper net options in future designs. Q: What do customers like most about this net? A: Anglers consistently praise its snag-free design, lightweight build, floating handle, and comfortable grip. Many note it performs as well or better than more expensive landing nets. Q: What feedback has YakAttack received for improvement? A: Some users suggest a locking mechanism to keep the handle retracted during storage, while others have requested a deeper net option. Both ideas are under review to enhance the product line.
