Garden rakes are a little like books – can never have too many. And, for some reason, our garden rakes often seem to sprout legs and toddle away. So, I always try to have a couple of extra on hand…just in case. This hand-held garden rake has a very comfortable silicone handle that makes it easy to hold and use. The tongs are nicely separated so it churns up the soil in no time. Best of all, the rake is durable. It’s weighted well so, even though it’s very sturdy, it doesn’t seem overly heavy. Since it’s stainless steel I don’t expect it to rust and it’s easy to keep clean. So far, it’s worked well for my gardening needs and, unless it too runs away from home, I expected it to last a good while. I’m happy with my purchase.

I bought this hand rake, not for the garden, but for the shore for my grandkids to use digging in the sand at the beach. They are getting older so I'm not concerned about them using a metal rake instead of a plastic one. This seems to be made well, and it is billed as a stainless steel tool. Only with use can I tell if it will hold up to salt water and sand use and not corrode over time. The handle is very comfortable and is solid. This is a great tool to use and I expect it to hold up to much use and abuse. So far it's a "thumbs up" :-)

This is going to be just the ticket for my raised bed gardens. The five"tines," unlike many small garden hand rakes are somewhat flat and the last inch is gently curved the last inch of each tine. I'm thinking that this one will actually pull the weeds and their roots out as the weeds don't get really big in the raised beds. The handle is 11" long Most of my raised beds are 4 foot wide and 8 foot long. I should easily be able to reach the middle of each bed to till the soil. Can't wait for spring. Its going to be a long wait given the 18"+ of snow we've gotten over the last couple of weeks.

My girlfriend is essentially a professional gardener due to her dedication to the hobby. We've invested in numerous hand tools, many of which are of inferior quality, succumbing to rust, bending, or breaking after a season or two. However, this particular tool stands out from that category. It boasts excellent craftsmanship and is constructed with solid stainless steel parts. The teeth are robust, resisting deformation or bending easily. The claw head is fully welded to the handle for durability, and the handle is designed to resist flexing. Additionally, the plastic grip is ergonomically shaped with contours for her fingers and anti-slip ridges for her thumb. This is the best hand rake we own.

Very solid little hand tool for garden work. There is no wiggle or give at all, and no signs that anything will loosen up even with hard use. Handle is comfortable and has a nice grip pattern for your thumb. Black (anodized?) finish is nice and seems very durable. Being stainless, I don't expect any rust. There is a hole through the top of the handle, although I do wish they had put the common leather string through it to make it ready to hang. If you actually do work in your garden, this is an appropriate choice.

This all-metal handheld rake is really well made, with a comfortable grip handle. This is just what I was looking for to help cultivate a new garden bed I'm working on, such as loosening weeds, roughing up the top layer for seed planting, tamping the top down, and so on. I often hit rocks and roots in my garden beds, and this will be tough enough to handle obstacles like those. The end of the handle has a hanging hole also.

This is a great little rake. Where I live we have vines everywhere!! Well this rake took the vines and pulled them right out root and all. Now I will say that the prongs did bend a bit, but y’all these weeds down here are like Jack’s beanstalk and they don’t cut easy. So I have to give it up for this rake because it took them like a pro!
