I got this for under $70. Once built, it’s sturdy and has a ton of storage. Regarding the assembly, I assembled it alone, which was possible, but it took about 3 hours even using a drill at a few points. Clear instructions but many pieces and screws. My couch is super low so it is above my couch, but it feels like a standard height.

My only complaint is that it takes two hands to smoothly lift the top. Other than that, it’s been a nice coffee table / extra desk. It looks nicer than most affordable furniture pieces, too.

The assembly was really going well, until I got to the "hinges" that allow you to bring the tabletop up. The instructions became pretty vague and the direction of the pieces became really confusing. I had to redo those steps a few times before getting it right. I've had it for a little less than 2 months now, and at the start I was quite worried about the quality of the "hinge" pieces specifically. They've held up really well, I'm only bothered by the fact that they don't operate in sync, so you can push one end of the top down while the other remains up. My only real quality concern is the floor of the inside of the coffee table. I wouldn't put anything specifically heavy in there (nothing heavier than 30 to 40 lbs) because it is pretty thin. Generally a good buy, I think it's great for storage and good for multiuse living areas where you may want to eat or work on a laptop as it extends to a height that is comfortable for those activities.
