This scooter definitely serves its purpose. My job is about 2 miles away, which is too far to walk daily (for me), so I needed something to get me there and back till I get my drivers license. I weigh ~230lbs, which is the high end of the weight limit, and it still runs well. I have to charge it after using it for 3-4 miles on the D setting, and at that setting it goes ~11 mph. I received the scooter earlier than expected but it was damaged The rear fender was broken and rubbing on the tire causing friction and impairment to movement I was able to bend it slightly and it worked a little bit, too much hassle to return

Muy buenas noches estimados futuros compradores, compre la patineta hace al rededor de 5 meses, luego de usar sin inconvenientes la patineta se me bloqueo escribí a un numero que resulto ser de YADEA España, me informaron que solo daban soporte a los productos salidos de su almacén, luego escribe la pagina oficial de YADEA hace un mes y no eh recibido repuestas, ademas de eso nunca puede conectar la patineta por bluetooth ni tampoco escanean del QR (QR era invalido el bluetooth nunca lo encontro), el servicio post venta es malisimo, TENGAN MUCHO CUIDADO AL COMPRAR ESTE PRODUCTO, en la actualidad no puedo usar la patineta. ... show more

So, I was on the fence between 4 and 5 stars as I really do like this scooter. I own 4 electric scooters that I rebuilt - they are about 20 years old with modern batteries and speed controllers. They work, they go from point a to b at a reasonable clip, but they struggle with bigger people, like me. Full disclosure: I am over the weight limit on this scooter. That being said, it had NO problem hauling me down the street fast enough to get the wind in the ears/face experience. It defaulted to Sport mode so top speed was pretty high (I think it can go about 15 mph in Sport Mode). I haven't tried the slower modes. You do need to kick start this one, but all it took was one good push and the motor kicked in for me. The platform is comfortable and wide to stand on. I got going first try and I haven't really ridden one of these for about 20 years (and those were slower). I really enjoyed my scoot up and down the street and had no trouble turning or stopping. I don't know if everyone knows this, but the left brake is the rear one and you should use that before applying the right break. The scooter is a bit on the heavy side - the delivery person warned me about it - they said they needed a hand truck so you know it has some heft. I was able to pull it out of the box pretty easily, but getting it into and out of a care might be harder for smaller folk. It feels really solidly built so there's a reason it has some weight. One thing I appreciated with the assembly was that it was super simple with only 6 bolts, all the same size. The included hex tool was, mostly, nice - better than those hard to use ones you usually get for sure. There wasn't a whole lot of instructions to be read, but it was pretty obvious. As with many products like this, the company would be advised to have the written materials reviewed by a native English speaker to improve the clarity and increase the professionalism. Still, it wasn't a problem, you'll be fine. If you look at the picture of the kickstand, you will see one of the quality control concerns I have. This doesn't look finished - in fact it almost looks like someone hacked at it to make it work. I don't think it will impact the performance, but it MIGHT turn into a problem over time as the bare metal is exposed. The 6 bolts for assembling the handlebar didn't all go in easily - whether that was alignment issues, poor machining or low quality bolts, I don't know. Finally, I stripped the head of one of the bolts while doing final assembly - I was not applying all that much force and it really through me. I don't think you'll regret buying this scooter, though I have only ridden it for a little bit. As long as the battery and electronics hold up, it should be great. ... show more

The scooter itself looks great, but it can't be bound to app, apparently this unit's Bluetooth has a problem, cause I tried on both iPhone and android phone, followed all the troubleshooting steps, nothing worked. The client support doesn't help at all either, I sent an email explained the problem in details and what I have tried, and asked if they can provide a way to reset to factory setting, so probably the Bluetooth might work. The client support gave me a YouTube link which just an installation video.. Returned ... show more

update to my previous review this is one of the best scooter i ever riden, it comes with bright enough LED for your night ride. It has a chime and the most importantly is it is FAST. it comes with 3 modes walking mode, limit to 4mph ride mode?, limit to 9mph fast mode, limit to 19mph looks like the scooter is capable of going more than 19mph but theres a limiter that slow down the scooter once it hit 19mph even you are heading downhill. I believe its hackable? but 19mph is fast enough for me The scooter is quiet and it sounds like airplane accelerating when you hit the toggle, the display is 2023, it has the torque meter and unlike old school display, this thing is LED powered. Overall i am very pleased and i can considered this as a step up from joyor s9 The downside is the speed limiter, when you go downhill, the scooter will always stay within 19mph, but still a 5 stars for me ... show more
