I like these bowls. They hold about 1 cup of dry cat food if you want, but you would have to pour in slowly so it doesn't fall out because of the tilt...I only put in 1/2 cup for my cats in the morning..The half can of wet food at night fits well..A whole can would be ok also. The water bowl (not tilted) holds a little over a cup of water. I bought these because my one cat has digestive issues...she has only vomited once since I got them..Iv had them about a week and 1/2. It does look easier for them to eat and drink out of them. They wash well also PLUS look cute! ... show more

This is my favorite pet food bowl ever, and I can tell my kitty loves it too. The height is perfect so that he doesn't have to crouch when he eats, and his food is always facing him, so that he can see it and isn't always testing the location with his whiskers and chin. He has pet fountains for water, so I use the level bowl for kibble, and the angled bowl for his moist food. I notice that he pretty much always eats every last bite i put in there, so I can feed a little less in each sitting and never end up with wasted food. The rounded bottom also helps eliminate wasted and dried food because there is no area in the bowl he can't reach. Cleans very easily with a dab of dish soap & warm water and a dish sponge or brush. Bowls have a very cute design. My cat really loves it, as it places the food at a good level for her to easily eat. She is an older cat and seems to finish more food from this bowl because of the way it’s angled. We recently rescued a large cat and we hated the big plastic food/water bowls that came with the cat because the plastic looks so tacky and the bowls are too large. The new YYHY Raised Cat Food and Water Bowl set are ceramic so they look nice and they are dishwasher safe (my favorite part). Both bowls are raised but only the food bowl is tilted and they say this configuration is good for the cat's digestion. The size of the bowls is perfect for a cat or small dog and they look very nice. The bowls are not so tall that I can't open the lower cabinet doors in the laundry room. I have the bowls sitting on a "mat" so they don't slide around when the cat eats. These bowls are worth the money. ... show more

This set is absolutely perfect for my cat who will not eat at ground level and insists on eating up high. Both bowls fit on the relatively narrow pony wall and as you can see I am using the one they consider a water dish for dry food since she drinks from the water fountain in another area. The ceramic finish cleans easily. The tilt to the bowl keeps her from pushing the wet food out as she eats it. While the bowl size might not be large enough for multiple cats it is certainly adequate for my girl. This is a great product for a really good price.I’ve washed it by hand and I washed it in the dishwasher both but honestly it washes quite easily by hand. I'd been keeping an eye open for an affordable set of food/water dishes like these for my 14-yr-old Ragdoll kitty. She doesn't have the range of motion she had before, and I noticed she was beginning to have difficulty crouching. These bowls have been the answer to my prayers. I got them on super-sale, most likely because the color is battleship gray :-), but they're shiny and bright, very sturdy (quality ceramic), they don't tip, and they're just the right height for my girl. The food bowl sits at an angle; the water bowl doesn't, but it's the same height as the food bowl, so it's worked out great so far. If I had more than one cat, I'd be re-ordering! ... show more

Love these bowls, mostly for the size & not being the typical small bowls. I have fat cats with fat heads. These def make it easier for them to eat. I think the tilt does help them get food easier but I haven't noticed any other advantages like less hair balls etc... Great deal for the price

Nice quality. Water bowl has lines so that you can see his much water your pet is drinking. Food bowl is tilted to provide less strain on your pet's neck when eating. Both are elevated. The size is suitable for small dogs & cats. Easily cleaned.
