Locally owned company has an amazing product. I’ve tried probably 30 different brands & flavors of honey. This almost tastes like a creamed honey, but it’s raw. I put it in everything from tea to smoothies to dessert toppings or as a “frosting”. I don’t bake with it because it’s raw & that destroys the enzymes in “raw” foods - generally anything above 118 degrees Fahrenheit. I hesitated to write this review because good honey is getting scarcer with the declining bee population, & this has been a consistent order for me ever since I tasted my first jar years ago. I love that it comes in a glass jar in some sizes & that there are different sizes to choose from. This company deserves a great shout out for a terrific product.

Benefits of raw honey are astronomical. I'm so glad that this doesn't have to be purchased directly from a bee farm anymore. The convenience of obtaining a product online from across the country is such a blessing. The honey is not clear and shouldn't because it's raw and his means it's filled with bee pollen and propolis. Every morning our family eats this for breakfeast with locally grown almonds from Cali. There are many purposes for using raw honey besides eating it raw, and this works well in Paleo and dessert recipes. The cost is lower online that in an organic store that I've seen for upwards of over $10 a bottle. The flavor is rich and creamy with a twist of sweetness.

This is beautiful, rich honey in a soft, smooth crystalline form. The immense value of the enzymes alone in these YS bee hive products seem underappreciated but they are essential. I consider the pack of 3 a great deal though I was disappointed to find they came in PLASTIC rather than GLASS!

We have looked for natural products for years in all the areas of food we consume on a regular basis. This honey we have been getting for several years after trying many others on Amazon and locally. Y.S. Eco Bee Farms Raw Honey is absolutely genuine and very good. I am surprised to see reviews talking about a white amazon sticker and other irrelevant factors that could detract from the fact that this honey is unadulterated and very good. It is also the most cost-effective compared to any other honey on Amazon the claims to have the same characteristics. It is not labeled organic for reasons other folks discuss, mainly being you can't control where bees go... and bees fly a looong distance so the organic claim is suspect. So I cannot recommend this raw, unpasteurized, unfiltered, unheated... honey high enough. Once you taste it and use it you will finally see what real honey looks and tastes like.

It's good honey. Similar to creamed, but also similar to honeycomb honey. I can taste different flavors of honey in the bottles I've tried. It's got hints of clover and flax so it's not just one source, but it is good. This is NOT liquid honey. You probably realize that if you are ordering this, but it's worth noting if you didn't see it mentioned. I've worked extracting honey, and generally the frame of wax and honey is spun until most of the honey is separated from the wax, then the honey may be treated or not, and then bottled. The wax then goes back into the hive for the bees to reuse. In this method, I think some of the wax is mixed in with the honey. It's not chewy like honeycomb so there's nothing to spit out. If you worry that the bees may lose their wax to this method, the bees make their own wax naturally so it doesn't hurt the bees at all. This is very good with butter on rolls.

I've ordered this twice now. The first order was made last summer and I was very happy with the purchase (5 stars). The honey was a very nice consistency and tasted terrific. My second order was made over the winter and the honey arrived discolored, incredibly hard (and has not softened), and tasted very stale. I will likely purchase this again, but will be careful not to order when the weather is cold.
