It is very difficult to tell if the chain is actually two toned but either way it is shiny and the flat cuts on each link make it sparkle more than a plain chain. The construction appears to be of decent quality with solid looking solder joints. A silver and gold toned looped fitting is included which is a bonus if you want to attach a charm that wouldn't otherwise fit.

I ordered this to to hold a pendant I had purchase on vacation. It’s the right size and the just the right length. It fits the pendant perfectly. It’s a nice enough necklace for the price. The product was made in China so I checked my expectations prior to ordering it. The color of the necklace has a very lustrous shine to it. I had to get really close in the light to notice the two tones. From a distance, it simply resembles a shiny rose gold. The packaging was really interesting and cute. I had never seen jewelry packages in a plastic snap style box like that. Overall, for the price, it’s still a better quality than what I was initially expected and better than what I’ve paid in the past.

Pros: < Good sturdy chain with a strong clasp that is relatively easy to work < Very dainty-looking with a nice shine Cons: < Almost impossible to see the two colors (the platinum blends into the gold and just looks like extra shine rather than a separate color. Had to use a magnifying glass to actually see the platinum itself. I tried to get a picture to show you that there are two colored wires: one wire of platinum and one of gold that are intertwined to make this chain, but I needed such high magnification that the pictures never came out with the detail that I wanted, so, sorry, no pictures attached. Overall: A very nice necklace of the right length, with a good clasp. In order to actually see the separate colors, the chain links would have to be about twice their size, but as long as a gold chain would work with your outfit, this chain will work, also. Hence, I've rated this at 4-stars, simply because it's not possible to PROVE the "two-color" statement. If you're looking for a very nice, delicate-looking GOLD chain for a necklace, this may be what you are looking for, and you may find this to be a 5-star product.

This sterling silver chain necklace is just right for wearing with a charm attached. The necklace is also attractive when worn by itself or with another necklace. While the clasp could be a little sturdier, the chain is dainty yet strong enough to support its use with a charm.
