I think I was expecting a heavy material. I like the size and the fit. The fabric felt a bit light when I first used it but it has stood up to a summer full of wind, rain and very hot weather and has been fine. I don't miss the weight of the former cover. I am hoping it holds up the the abuse the weather provides for years to come.

Update: After returning the cover, this company sent the lager cover that fits my mower. While this cover appears to be a quality product, I had to return it because it didn't even come close to fitting my JD 530. They advised fitting 54" decks but that was false.

The thing I liked about this cover is the fact that you can secure it by the drawstring and not have to place heavy objects to secure it.

This is a nice quality cover for my 54 inch lawnmower however it does not cover the deck. It covers the lawn tractor but is not actually wide enough to cover the 54 inch deck. Even with the grass shoot pulled up to make it exactly 54 inches then it still doesn’t fit. Other than that it is a very nice cover

Although our lawn tractor is kept inside the shed, we use the cover to protect the tractor from dust. The cover is sturdy enough to use outside, however. Fit, quality, and value are excellent.
