I purchased this IEM wireless system to simplifying performance setup for my Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge: no power cords for the amp, wireless connectivity for my electric violin, and now, no cable for my IEMS. I currently use this configuration for quick and simple setup at Jazz workshops and jams. The U45 provides easy optimal-channel discovery and syncing between transmitter and receiver. Sound quality is excellent. One thing to note. The U45 transmitter requires line-level input (not mic-level) to obtain adequate volume in your IEMs. I encoutered this requirement because the only available output channel on my Loudbox Mini charge is DI out. DI out is mic-level. To get this setup to work required my inserting a mic preamp between the amps DI out and the U45 transmitter. For this purpose I purchased a small battery-powered Rodyweil RO-04 Mic Preamp. WIth this setup, I boosted the DI signal 36DB and acheived adequate IEM volume. ... show more

I recently bought the Xvive U45 from Amazon and used it for one live gig so far. It was a large venue, and honestly, I was a bit nervous about how it would handle the distance and crowd. But it held up perfectly, not a single signal drop the entire show. The sound was clear, consistent, and it felt reliable right out of the box. This is by far one of the best products I've ever owned. It's easy to carry and use live, and the connection and range are very stable. This is my second piece of equipment from this brand, and I honestly don't think I'll ever use anything else.

This works great in pinch, or if you’re on a tight budget. Now that my sennheiser g4 is rack mounted - the gigs where i don’t need to bring my whole rack this little device does the job. Pretty good range, and battery life that carries me through a 4 hour gig plus sound check easily! Plus it fits in the smallest compartment of my backpack! Easy to travel with! ... show more

Let me just say, WOW! I have been looking for an affordable solution to IEM's for my band. We are currently using IEM earbuds but plugged in direct. So yeah...we have a cable from our headphone mixer out to the musician. Not a gigantic issue since we're already connected to our amps by cables... but still. I tested out the Debra IEM system and it was filled with hissing and interference. I returned it. I also tried the lower end Phenyx Pro and returned it because it was also noisy. THIS setup works! The sound is fantastic and clear. I did notice on the default channel (2) there was an occasional "pop" sound. It was mildly annoying but I tried another channel (3) and it went away. The body pack is heavy (in a good way) and feels very sturdy. It's really nice. It's a metal case, not plastic. The transmitter and receiver are both rechargeable with included "Y" cable. You can plug it directly into an XLR jack on your mixer OR a 1/4 inch plug into the Aux send on your mixer. Don't plug it into a headphone jack. It's mono. I have only tested it out briefly but so far I am very impressed. It's on 5.8Ghz which I think is why there is no obnoxious noise in the ears. Just pure sound! I bought a set for myself but I am confident now the rest of the band will get these too! ... show more

I have not used them on a stage where other musicians are also using them, but they have worked very well so far. They have crystal clear sound, much better than my last $300 IEM systems.
