Features

  • Simplify Audio Troubleshooting: The AT-1 audio tester integrates a signal generator, XLR cable tester, phantom power checker, input level meter, and headphone/speaker monitoring into a single compact unit. Designed for live sound engineers and audio professionals, its perfect for testing and troubleshooting PA systems, mixers, DI boxes, and effects units.
  • Signal Generator: The AT-1 tester produces a 1 kHz sine wave or pink noise, with outputs available via XLR, 6.35 mm (1/4"), or 3.5 mm(1/8") connectors. Output levels are adjustable (-10 dB, -20 dB, -40 dB),making it ideal for frequency response analysis and signal path diagnostics.
  • XLR Cable Tester:Easily test XLR cables with automatic pin-by-pin diagnostics. Simply connect the cable and press the SEL button for 2 seconds to start testing. LED indicators will sequentially check each pin and highlight faults (e.g., open or short circuits on Pin 2 or Pin 3), enabling quick identification and resolution of cable issues.
  • Phantom Power Checker: Verify phantom power voltage within a range of 24V to 52V using clear LED indicators: Solid LED: Voltage between 44V-52V (line OK). Flashing LED: Voltage between 24V-44V (line OK). This ensures your phantom-powered microphones and devices receive the correct voltage, preventing performance issues or equipment damage.
  • USB-C Rechargeable: Compact and portable, the AT-1 features a USB-C charging port and a built-in rechargeable battery that fully charges in 1.5 hours. A low battery warning ensures uninterrupted operation, and the device supports use while charging.

  • A handy tool for sound technicians
This tester helps me check the condition of my audio cables easily. It has a lot of features that make it useful in a number of situations. It is well built and completely made of metal. The built-in battery is very nice to have. This is useful to have in the studio or on the stage. It has a built-in speaker so you don’t need to carry headphones with you. I will definitely be keeping this in my tool bag. ... show more

  • Handy little tool for the price.
I bought this to QC video recorders actually. Sometimes I need to test the analog inputs of various AJA and BM devices and so far this has been a cheaper and more compact solution for me than the Q Box. I love the Sound Bullet guys, and I do plan on buying the original version at some point, but for less than $200 I can justify this right now for myself. The XLR tester is similar to a CAT tester. You connect both ends to the Xvive and it will check each pin for continuity. It will light up if all is fine and a pin will not light up if it’s bad. Runs off of USB-C for charging. Has a speaker with a volume knob on it so you can hear the SG. It also comes with a little carrying sheath like a Leatherman! This is straight forward and simple to use. I did notice however I wasnt getting equal amplitude with the 1K tone, but I was using a Y split. This may have been the issue, but I cant verify that yet. For me, this is great. For an A1/A2 this will come in handy for sure. ... show more
