This Roof Top Strobe warning light is made with quality materials. It comes securely packaged, and it is easy to install. I tested the 26 different light patterns and I find that all of them are very bright. I have no doubt that other vehicles will be able to see this light bar from a far away distance. The thing I really like about this warning light is that it has very strong magnets, there are seven magnets in each of the four suction cups. The rubber suction cups wrap all around the magnet holders (these rubber cups are not likely to come off). This provides a firm grip between the light bar and the vehicle roof. I had to re-set the light bar to get it properly centered on my roof and it was difficult for me to get the suction cup/magnets to let go of my roof . . . I have no doubt that this light bar is not going to blow off my vehicle. The control panel is easy to use. I like that it shows the both the pattern in use, and the pattern number as well. I like that this bar can be easily plugged into a cigarette lighter, and it can be 'hard wired' to the electrical system; it even comes with an electrical connection wire to facilitate a hard wired connection, nice. This warning light bar is just what I needed . . . bright warning lights that will hold securely to my vehicle. I like this bright strobe warning light and I think you will too. ... show more

My brother is a mail man and was in need of a strobe light. He uses his own car so this is perfect. It has multiple light patterns and he really likes that it can plug in to the cigarette lighter this way if he has to borrow another car to do his route this one can be moved easily to it. the magnets are what hold it to his roof and they are strong. this is a good quality light. ... show more

These lights work pretty well but for those who have a newer vehicle if you are going to rely more on the magnetic part of the mounting then double check if your vehicle is even metal. My 22 F150 is not, I have to use only the suction cups and I am unsure how well they would hold on their own if there was major wind and going down a road. Going slower speeds I know these would hold well. Using both the magnets and also the suction cups together would definitely hold much better. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love this bar because it is easy to use and portable. The suction cups do not do well on a roof with ridges, however it has no problem sticking to smooth surfaces. I chose to hard mount it and “permanently” wire it so I cut the harness and connected it to a fused line. The pattern control has a nice custom setting that you can hold down to set to any of the 26 patterns and it includes quick buttons for left, right and split. I also like that the leds alternate between amber and white. Also the controller shows which pattern is selected by illuminating the leds on the controller. ... show more

Incredibly bright and a great option of patterns for any situation. This thing stays in place very well and it takes a lot to get it to budge! The only thing to keep in mind is that the controller and the power supply are separate leads. This may be a plus or a minus depending on your installation. On the one hand it allows for power to be supplied from another location from the control (direct wire to engine compartment for example) and on the other hand it means two wires are running through a window or door seal in more temporary instances. In my case it's not a decision factor but it's something to be aware of. The profile is also nice and low and it looks great so if your worried about an unsightly light on your rig it's not a huge concern with this one. ... show more
