Spent hours trying to get the RGB to work with all different combinations no luck. The directions don't even match the wire colors. Directions are HORRIBLE...Even an electrician buddy of mine couldn't figure out what the problem is besides a faulty RGB module. I'm hoping my return and new one will be better. if it is I'll adjust the review. UPDATE: So i returned it and got a new one. Still exactly the same issue the RGB does not work!!!! The red brake light are working but no color works tried parts from both sets still nothing. My guess there is a serious manufacturing defect in a full lot of these lights. I know they sell a non RGB version maybe they put the wrong electronics in this lot. ... show more

I struggled so bad to get the RGB feature to work based on the instructions included in the box and online videos (said to run the third wire to the battery, but I had 4 wires 🙄). I reached out to xprite and they provided me with these instructions and diagrams. I figured I would share them for anyone else struggling. Attached is the Jeep tail light diagram, you only need to tap the GREEN factory running light wire (+12V RUNNING): Step15: Clamp the T-TAP connector on this green wire Step16: Plug our separate red wire into the T-TAP clip We have 4 wires total: 3 wires plug into the stock 3rd brake light adapter for brake light & Bluetooth function (which you already got working), the 4th red wire is only for steady RGB running light power via the green tail light wire. Please follow the above wiring steps to get your steady RGB glow working. Let me know if you run into any trouble after trying. ... show more

Light was great but after a couple car washes the cheap plastic coverings started coming off and then maybe got water damage, light aren’t working as good and one is off completely

When it actually works properly, it's great. However, after about a month or so of it working properly, it will revert to blue instead of red for breaking. I've had it for over a year and every couple months, I have to reset the whole thing. It is a pain. It will start dancing on it's own without touching the remote. The remote won't work to turn it off nor change the colors. Red is blue and blue is red. The dancing won't work etc. Change the batteries in the remote and that doesn't work. I figured out how to fix it by googling issues with it and calling Xprite.... watched a video. You literally have to disconnect it from behind the tire, reconnect it, press certain buttons on the remote to reprogram it for it to work properly again. And the process repeats every couple months. Annoyed is an understatement. Side note: I had a professional install it for me and he said it was very difficult due to the way it had to be wired.
