  • Very nice boots..
Size: 8.5 Color: Black
When you put on a hiking boot there should be no slippage. This is a very nice boot. 8 inch uppers and very well made. It’s tight around my foot but not uncomfortable. Some hiking boots will wear you down after a while but I wore these boots all day for the first couple of days to break them in and they did not hurt my feet out wear me down at all. Great design with a very nice tread made to keep you from slipping and you do not have to worry about walking through a lot water. They shed the water just fine. They are insulated and keep your feet warm. I have been wearing these outside in 14 degrees with ice and snow for an hour or two at a time and my feet did not get cold at all. I recommend these boots to anyone that hikes out walls in a regular basis or even the individual that just wears there boots for normal weather reasons. The only negative detail is that on the left boot the tongue and eyelets are not straight down the boot. They angle slightly in but it surely isn’t anything that would deter me or make me send them back. These boots are well priced and will definitely suit your hiking or walking needs. ... show more

  • Nice boots!
Size: 8 Color: Coffee
So far I am very pleased with these boots! Having never heard of this brand before I decided to give them a chance based off of reviews and price point. I’m planning on using these as an early season boot for elk and whitetail hunting. I wear a size 7 but since XPETI doesn’t list a 7.5 I went with a size 8. I like to wear a very thin sock liner and a medium weight alpaca wool sock by Hollow socks, particularly when I’m hiking a lot. These boots seem like they’ll be good for side hilling and rough terrain hiking because of the stiffness of the ankle but time and use will tell as they soften up and get broken in. Regardless, I always like to bring two pair of boots with the spare remaining behind in a gear bag in my truck. I’ll update my review as I get more mileage on them. Edit: Alrighty! I’ve got ten miles rucking in these boots. 40lb sandbag on an Eberlestock F1 Mainframe. I swapped out insoles for a pair of Superfeet “hike, cushion” insoles. The boots show minimal sole wear so far. I can’t attest to waterproofness as I avoid getting my footwear wet as much as possible. Cushioning: excellent. Ankle support: excellent. Laces: lock securely. So far nothing but good to say about these boots except for one little thing. The left boot toe crease (flex point) is right on top of my little toe. This has caused a nasty blister on two separate rucks. I’ve varied my socks and sock liners but that crease just sucks. So, instead of blaming the boot I solved the problem and invested in a roll of Alpine Armor blister tape. WAY better than traditional moleskin! I wrapped my toe in the tape, wore an Injinji sock liner and a medium Point Six hiking sock and away I went. I felt a slight pinch on my toe but nothing like had occurred before. I rucked 3.25 miles. Got home pull off the boots and socks fully expecting another blister. Nope. Nothing. Not even a raw spot. I’m looking forward to using these as my primary boots for my elk hunt in the high country this September. I don’t think that one could go wrong with these at all, especially for the price point. ... show more

  • Definitely recommend.
Size: 10 Color: Grey
Bought these as an everyday pair of work boots for fall/winter which is still a couple months away here in Tennessee. I’ll update how they hold up in a few months. For now though the fit was almost spot on. Ordered size 10, regular shoe size. Enough room for thicker socks which I doubt will be needed. These are going to be plenty warm. Not sure about the waterproofing yet. Footbed is very comfortable and overall the boots are surprisingly light. Soles seem to be quality material that should last. I included photos of two spots where the stitching looks iffy but there seems to be some type of panel behind the outer fabric so I can’t see where it would be an issue. Word of warning they add a bit of height so pay attention until your used to them. Other than that they appear to be a great pair of boots. Wore them for quick 3 mile walk. The new boot feeling didn’t last long. They were quite comfortable by the second mile. My feet did get warm but the boots do a good job a venting heat. My socks weren’t even damp when I got home. I have to add that after having a severe fracture of my right tibia a couple years ago that left me with a an arthritic ankle, permanent nerve damage and lots of interior hardware I’m very particular about my footwear. These boots are comfortable. I’m already impressed with them. But being a truck driver they’ll definitely be put to a real test and time will tell. Right now giving them a thumbs up. ... show more

  • Durable and warm boots
Size: 7 Color: Black
The boots can be worn right out of the box, quickly adjusting to your foot. They are very comfortable wearing in the woods of Maine or a walk on pavement. When worn in the woods they are flexible enough to adapt to the uneven terrain of rocks, wood, packed snow, etc. with the tread gripping really well. Worn in the very cold weather of Maine with a pair of mid-weight wool socks my feet stayed warm. All around really well built boots at a great price. ... show more

  • Well worth the money
Size: 10.5 Color: Black
I don’t leave many reviews, but this product is worth reviewing. I’ve worn boots my whole life for work and typically, I only can get 3 to 4 months out of a pair whether they were high-end or cheap. These boots right here lasted me seven months, wearing them five days a week. I have absolutely zero complaints never gave me a problem out of them never even broke a shoelace. Well, worth the money. I just got my new pair in and hoping to get another 7 months out of them. ... show more
