The designer nailed it with the Go Go Stik. I'm disabled and have a hard time cleaning up after my service dog. I had one of those double claw scoopers, which worked--but it was always filthy. I took a risk on this one and it paid off. First, the handle is solid plastic/fiberglass--really strong and substantial. Second, then scooper end that holds the bags really works. If you install the bag properly, the tool itself is protected from the mess--it stays clean! Third, use the big bags made for it! They send some with it and I ordered another box--I have a 55# standard poodle and those bags are big enough for an ENTIRE week of poo clean-up. Because I go through one bag per week, the cost of the bags is really low--and they fit well. I use the criss/cross method to secure the bags. Practice a few times loading a bag until you get it right, it isn't hard but it is easy to get a bag on wrongly and that leaves you with much less poo capacity. I own two of these now!

Throughout the years, I’ve used several different kinds of pooper scoopers and this is by far the best one. I wasn’t a fan of other rake & shovel designs but love this one for several reasons: it works great with a bag (2x bags of 10/each large & x-large incl) keeping hands clean, can be used without the rake, perfect length for me (5’4) not needing to bend over and light enough to carry along since I’m currently not allowed to bend due to back surgery & restrictions with carrying anything heavy. It’s great that there are 2 different sides for either grass or concrete pickup. As soon as it arrived, I was out in the yard picking up 💩 from the past 2 weeks because the old scooping tool broke and I wasn’t allowed due to surgery. It was easy and actually fun to clean the yard from my doggies messes. Verdict: Highly recommended! PS: I appreciate the free included Doody bags but always buy recycled or compostable ones. As someone else recommended in their review, I ordered the x-large bags from Planet Poop which are 100% compostable and work perfectly for the gogo stick.

I absolutely love the scooper part. I used an old plastic store bag & wrapped according to the directions. It stayed on without a problem. I did an extensive clean up after the winter snow. The bag did not slip out & was able to hold a considerable amount. I did not find the rake part extremely useful. I think it was because of the design of the bottom. I think it needed to be sharper and wider- that's just my opinion. But all, in all, the scooper is definitely great. I am a senior citizen & ease, height, & stability of bag in the scooper. Scooper gets a strong 5, but rake gets 3-4.

I’m honestly not sure why this gets good reviews? I had a similar one that had grooves to scoop poop on grass many years ago and I loved that scooper because it picked up everything so easily and had an expandable pole. I was hopeful this would be like my old scooper but sadly it’s not! This does nothing but push the poop around and then drags bag thru it. Pole is way too short for a person 5’8” or taller you end up bending to pick it up anyway. I thought length of pole expanded but..nope. Yes, I watched all the videos to attach bags and scoop wet poop but if you notice in the video they are dragging bag thru poop as well. Definitely not worth the money or time until it actually can scoop poop up in grass. It needs grooves or redesigned. I would’ve sent it back but I had already used it thinking it would pick up easier like my old one did. You can scoop poop with hands in a bag better and faster than this scooper. So disappointing. The positives are: it seems good quality, bags go on exactly like videos show, scooper has two different scooping sides that are labeled but difficult to see because it’s same color, and it’s easy to use if you like pushing poop around your yard.

This product is functional and I love the ease of using it. Waste bag stays in place nicely BUT… it broke after only 5 months of using it. Thin curvy plastic part that holds a bag in place snapped. Plastic part became brittle. It would have been better if that piece was made of metal of some kind. For $40 I should be able to get more use out of it. Not durable enough

UPDATE: I have been using this for a few years. I still have the original GoGo stick. I love the updates on the newer model, but mine is still in excellent shape. Hmmmm...maybe it will have an accident. When this first came out, the one suggestion I made was to have a collapsible handle to make it easier to take walks with. Guess what?! They did it! Yay! I do have one more suggestion. I don't have a yard for my pooch so we have to walk in the dark sometimes. I did an update to mine. I wrapped a piece of velcro on the stick itself and then put the opposite velcro on a flashlight. Now when we go for our walks, I don't have to carry a flashlight separately. Great, great product! While recovering from lower back surgery, I was unable to have my dog at home as I am unable to bend and pick up her waste. After searching online for a while, I found this one. It's great for several reasons. First, it is very light and the pole had a ridged grub which makes it easy to hold. Second, it really can use ANY bag! Third, is really easy to put your bags on it. Fourth, it is easy to pick up waste on any terrain with the dual edges. Finally, and I think the best, the scooper parr never gets dirty as it's sheets covered with a bag. Most of the other scoopers have to be cleaned after every use. I did contact the company with a few suggestions and the suggestions were well received. I suggested the pole be collapsible to make it easier to manage while walking. They advised they are actually in the process of doing that now. I also suggested a hand wrap like those on an umbrella and maybe a clip to attach additional bags to. They liked the ideas and said that maybe they could add them in future versions..

pick up my sons dog poop when I take him for a walk. I use this and just put it under him and it goes right into the bag. The dog sometimes gets diarrhea so this is really good for that cause there is no way to pick up diarrhea.
