The bulbs on these lights are nice looking but will be harder to match when you need replacements. They are round vs most of the the which are elongated. You do get two spare bulbs though. They do have the clips built in which helps with hanging and they can be added on to with others sets. They can be dimmed but do not come with a dimmer. The cord is lightweight and so are the bulbs. The bulbs are plastic which are good for outdoors and seems to be a high quality LED and are screw in type not permanent. You receive a couple of replacement bulbs in the set. This is not really a set I’d have permanently mounted on my deck. These are a set that would be nice for camping, RVing, or a party decoration where you need something lightweight and easy to hang that is weatherproof and adds a nice ambience to your outing. That would correlate to the price you are paying. They are easy to hang and take down The light color is not blue white and not that warm either. It is a white light with little to no amber warm hue. These are very nice looking 1W led strung lights. One watt? Yes, 1 watt. Since they are led, each bulb (G40) is nice and bright. I’m replacing the old Christmas lights I have up on my pergola with these. All bulbs lit up on test, and they provided 2 spares. They are plastic but you can’t tell by looking at them. I have these on a timer. They look great. Ne t I am going to buy a dimmer so that I can try a softer glow. These are really nice, just what I needed. ... show more

The first thing I noticed was the bulbs themselves. They look better than anything I've ever seen on string lights before. I thought they were actual glass bulbs. They look great lit up! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the clips are a bit fragile. Otherwise these are excellent!

First, let me say that I am totally amazed that they were able to place all the lights into such a small box! Upon taking them out and plugging them in, everything worked fine. My first impression was that they were much smaller than I was expecting, but now I am convinced that that is a good thing. They are the perfect size and shape! They seem very bright with light that is on the cooler end of the light spectrum in my opinion (despite the fact that they are rated at 2700K). Included in the box are two spare light bulbs and an instruction booklet. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Why? Well, for example: "Keep lamps at least 16ft from pools and spas." We had originally planned on placing the lights on the perimeter of our patio cover, which is eight feet from our spa. If you look at the fifth picture on their product page (top left side) they show lights almost adjacent to, and directly above, a spa! We ended up placing them over our patio table instead. One suggestion would be for a three pronged grounding plug instead of the two pronged plug that it comes with. Overall, we are very satisfied with the lights! ... show more

I have a seasonal campsite, and I've often thought it was too dark late at night. These lights (I have both a 50ft and 100ft set) are bright enough without being too bright. The only "issue" I have is that the distance between the bulbs is slightly different between the two sets, with the 50ft set being a bit closer between bulbs. These are very good patio lights. I like that they are remote controllable and dimmable. The brightness range is quite good and the color of the light is also nice. The construction and material quality seems good and I expect to get several seasons of use from this nice set of lights.
