I have two Flemish giant bunnies and keeping their cage clean has been my issue. I read the reviews on this “grass” and decided to purchase it. It has been a life saver in regards to keeping the cage clean and dry. My bunnies does not eat this grass and seems pretty happy and safe.

My goal was to create some sort of outdoor potty situation for my little dog, who, because of the metal rods in his back legs, cannot handle walks in the snow. While it doesn't snow much in my city, we do typically get a few days of heavy snow and ice each year. Now that I live in an apartment, I wanted to be prepared for those snowy days so my dog could relieve himself without pain. Sadly, this strip of fake grass doesn't seem to work for my needs. This grass strip has excellent drainage, which was important for how I planned to use it. However, it feels nothing like real grass. And trust me, my dog is not used to plush grass! We live in an urban environment where nobody waters their lawns, so all the grass he's used to is hard and spiky. I didn't expect it to be plush and soft, but I did expect more of an "Astroturf" feeling under the feet. Because it's obviously more of a decoration than a functional item, I've been unable to train my dog to go to the bathroom on it. He doesn't think it's a valid place to pee (and I've trained him to pee on command, so it's not a lack of training) so he won't go to the bathroom on it. He is afraid he is doing something bad. I don't necessarily blame this product, as if you plan to use it for decorative purposes, it'll do the trick. But this grass strip made me realize that what I probably need is actual sod. ... show more
