    • Got for the Mugs, The Lids are really just dust covers.
The lids do not seal and have an opening for the spoons so they aren't really lids, more like dust covers. I imagine they are to help retain heat or if u are using these for dry powders or soemthing? But then they are wood so the steam will get inside and start causing moisture/mold issues with enough use. You would only want to use the cover after the cup has been moved too for the same reasons above, times rotten dairy. Ultimately I got for the mugs themselves though so won't be using the covers anyway. They are larger than I imagined but are pretty and have a decent enough build quality. They are of course injection molded at this price point and are a good deal this being a 4 pack. ... show more

    • Super cutesy-fancy and durable; using for overnight oats and chia pudding
The glass walls are good and thick/sturdy, and the beading design is perfectly delicate and appealing to the eye. There are actually two designs (so, two mugs of each), but they are clearly a set, and the difference isn't immediately obvious, but a nice touch when noticed. I can't imagine using the little golden spoons other than for a little girl tea-party, but I am keeping them. They are just right for making overnight oats or chia pudding, which is what I'll be using them for. They are not the style of handle (or cup dimensions, for that matter) that I personally prefer for holding/drinking, but that is not what I want them for, so I didn't rate for comfort of holding. For my purposes of specific food prep and basically fancy bowls, they are exactly right, and make those meals a little more special. Note that they won't be airtight: there is no rubberish lining inside the lid, and there is also the little hole for the spoon. I don't need airtight, and I'd rather not have to keep the lining/ring clean/dry, so that is a benefit for me, but be sure to consider what you want them for before ordering if being able to have an airtight seal is a need for you. ... show more

I'll just get it out of the way in case you're looking for a negative review: I love them. I love love love them. Here's why: 1) Their simple design makes using them as fun as looking at them. 2) The glass is solid & durable. The makers didn't settle for flimsy lightweight glass you're always afraid will break. 3) Simple vintage organic design. Not loud or obnoxious. They're adorable! No plastic! 4) The bamboo lid! It's also thick and sturdy, and fits perfectly in a groove on top of the cup. You can set all sorts of stuff on it, use it as a coaster or a cheese/ bread plate... It also does a real nice job of blocking heat or cold from getting out of the cup, but doesn't get too hot itself. The lids will also keep bugs out during summer outdoor events. 5) The little golden spoons. Idk. I've never had little golden spoons. And now I do. I cook a lot so I can't wait to use these for soups, chili, stews, oatmeal, really good coffee, fruit, desserts, parfaits... I made some really good chicken-corn chowder yesterday and I can't wait to eat some out of these. ... show more
