Tight squeeze, clamps fit despite 39mm clamps not 41mm , may need to trim fairing to clear headlight bezel , but all in all good buy, 4 stars because the clamp bolts don’t fit through the top hole in the bracket. Needed a hammer to pop them through and no directions included

To start I did not buy the mounting bracket’s recommended I bought Memphis shades universal mounting brackets I used 2 bc the top bracket is to far but I made it work and it’s sturdy But 6weks in and only risen maybe 150 miles the mounting screws to the plastic have completely broken off to the point it is not salvageable I am I requesting a partial refund or an exchange unit I loved the appearance n the functionality but it is cheaply built ... show more

This was about half the price of other suppliers . I think it is actually the same item that all the cheap generic brands on amazon sell for various prices . I have a krator branded fairing that I wanted a new clear headlight lens for and decided to take a chance by purchasing this one that was not much more than what replacement lenses cost plus you get it complete . It was identical to the one i had so i used the new one instead of just replacing the lenses on old one. ... show more

This is sold as a replacement for the Harley 57070-98 quarter fairing. This has a different bracket style than the Harley kit. I suppose to get around copyright / trademark / patent issues? I mounted this on a 98 Sportster using a mounting kit I found here. Useless except for the tube clamps. The trick is to mount the tube clamps at an angle, and line them up with the angled bracket ends. Remove the bracket sides from the quarter fairing, and get them lined up and attached with the clamps. Then you can reach in and reattach the brackets to the mounts on the fairing. It took the usual amount of fiddling around, but in the end, it came out fine. ... show more

It was easy to install on my 2016 FXDLS. Looks great, my only question is whether to have two clamps or 4 clamps holding it on the bike...two lower clams seems to do the job just fine, but I may put the other two on the top for more stability. There are no instructions on what it actually requires. The top two clamps will be difficult to get mounted on the exiting hardware that comes with it. Overall, it looks great, I will ride it tomorrow and see how it holds up in the wind. Great price...Harley wanted $350 for a similar version...I paid less than $100 for this one including the quick release mounts for the fork attachment. $57 for the shield, $36 for the fork clamps. Very satisfied with my purchase...just be patient when you go to install...take your time in adjusting it and getting it to fit the way you want it to...ok 4 clamps it is....I put 100 miles on it yesterday and it is fantastic....deflects 60% of the wind and nearly all if you duck down. I installed this with easy and honestly it went together pretty well how ever I no longer have it on my bike due to it being broken at the mounting point. I’m pretty sure it was decent quality and didn’t break on its own how ever I could be wrong. Either way it looks good and seems to be sturdy. Just don’t make enemies who like to rip shields off mikes…. ... show more
