I bought this for my son (13) for Christmas. I took the quiz on the Xbox site and this was the recommended console. He loves it. Packaging was as expected. We have no issues with the console or the controller. Graphics are great. Works exactly as expected.

    • Doesn't work
This was the only thing my son wanted for Christmas. He was so happy opening it up christmas morning. Go to set it up and it started updating. Got to %50 and just kept shutting off. Ended up throwing a code to get it replaced. He was so upset. We spent a lot of money to get this and it doesn't even work. Go to replace it and the only option is a refund that will take 30 DAYS to get. So now he has to wait till that money is refunded so we can get another one. How is this righ??? ... show more

Got it to play Fallout Anniversary edition and works great. Was tricky connecting controller. Have to use big X button and smaller button on edge of controller. That instruction was on one part of documentation that came with it but not on another. I had an XBox that I used while working at a boys home while in grad school. When I left that position I left the XBox there. Something about Fallout TV series made me want to have fun with XBox playing the game. So here we are… The S series is fine for me.
