Keeping this review real, I’ll start by saying it was only $22.00, so my expectations weren’t very high. We’ve only had it for a week, so I can’t provide any input past that. With that said, it was an inexpensive gift for a 5 year old. I like that it attaches to the TV, though the cable is on the short side and you need a TV that has composite (RCA -Yellow, Red and White) inputs. The screen is small at 2.5” (though I knew that when purchased). Ours seems to reboot every so often for no apparent reason. So far the kids seem to like it, so for me it was worth the $22.00. I will say, that if I was purchasing a hand held video console for an older child, I would look to spend a little more money on something a little higher end, but for a 5 year old, it seems to be fine.

I bought two of these for my kids (age 3 and 5) and they absolutely love them! There is so many games to play and the battery life has been great so far. I feel like this purchase was worth the price and something I will consider buying for family or friends' kids for birthdays/Christmas.

I love the old school feel. It's compact and easy to use. I already had and rca to hdmi conversion kit so I was able to hook up to the t.v. no problem. So if you plan on hooking it up to your t.v., you'd need to buy additional items to make it work (if you have a newer t.v. that doesn't have rca ports). The volume control works. It is a little glitchy, but for what it is, it's a great way to entertain.

This little handheld is built pretty well. The screen is bright and the sound quality is ok. Takes 3 aaa batteries. I do wish it just came with a rechargeable battery but it's fine. Lots of nes style games including super Mario, Galaga, tiny toons and more. Some of the games are not labeled correctly. It feels pretty sturdy and has a good weight with the batteries installed.
