The Chillafish QUADIE + TRAILIE is a 4-wheeler "grow-with-me" ride-on quad with an attachable trailer that is uniquely designed to provide a stable platform for wheeled exploring. Made from high-quality, lightweight steel, this ride-on bike takes the 4-wheeler back to its roots; simple and functional, it makes a great first ride for your child. As your child grows the seat also adjusts with them (from 21 cm to 26 cm), ensuring proper positioning and support without the use of tools. The QUADIE seat is also designed with a hidden storage compartment, allowing them to carry a small toy or some snacks along for the ride! The non-marking wheels operate silently, making it functional for both indoor and outdoor adventures. The TRAILIE is a 2-wheeled trailer that's equipped with the same silent, non-marking wheels as the QUADIE. It features a flexible connector, allowing you to simply "click 'n' play" in seconds. This connector is bendable, helping make turning a breeze. The trailer allows for additional storage, so collecting and transporting toys becomes a fun game for your child. Ok we purchased this for our first grandson and let me tell you, he LOVED IT!!!!! we bought it back in 2018 he was 2 at the time. one thing I would recommend if you do buy this - CHANGE OUT THE SCREWS IN THE WHEELS!!! We found that absolutely regardless of how tight we put those little black screws in they ALWAY fell out... we would tighten them and they would fall out.. luckily somehow we were always able to find them... fast forward... to the next grandson.. and 2022 New years eve trip to Virginia - our baby grandson was riding it and they fell out and we couldn't find them... HE LOST IT!!! Well I went to walmart and bought screws... don't remember what size, but they were longer than the black ones provided and definitely a MUCH tighter fit... since December 2022 they have not fallen out again and my grandsons (5 years old and 3 years old are STILL riding this little bike) This bike is a NUST have!!!!!! They fight over it... But do yourself a favor.. save yourself a headache in the long run.. change out the screws in the wheels!!! ... show more

    • What a pain to assemble

You would think that assembling a small bike such as this would be simple. It is simple in the process but the details matter. I bought two of these one pink, one blue. On the pink one on the rear axles, there was a lot of paint left on them so I had to use sand paper to take off the paint (powder coat) so the tires would even roll. The rear wheels had to be switched and swapped around to get the right wheel in the right orientation so the wheels would roll. Now, for the blue bike, what a pain. I had to take a file to get off the extra paint (powder coat) and then smooth it with emery paper to get it smooth. I tried to put the wheels on and the axles were not machined deep enough, if you put the wheel on and tightened down the axle bolt, the wheel was totally locked up. I had take a large drill bit and drill out the boss on the wheel hub in order to get enough clearance that the axle bolt would not lock up the wheel from turning. I should have set up my drill press instead of just trimming the axle boss by hand, on one of the wheels I got a little too deep and the wheel has lateral movement on the axle, about 1/32 of an inch. I don't know that my 2 year old grandson will notice. If I had been at work I would have used a mill to deepen the axle to the exact amount. Then the bolt and nut that attach the handle bar to front wheel steering assembly was missing. I didn't have time to return them since their birthdays are today, the day I am assembling them. I will wait and see if anyone from Chillafish reads this and offers to send me two replacement rear wheels so I can get them to fit properly. If you buy this product do not wait until the last minute to assemble it. Order it soon enough you can return it or get replacement parts that will work. ... show more

I bought this for my 2 yo daughter who is in the 75th percentile for height. The seat at its highest is about 9 1/2 inches. It is a good fit for her. My 3 1/2 yo son doesn't look too awkward when he sits and rides it around, so it obviously has some growing room. It is sturdy, stable, and easy to steer and is pretty stylish too! They include stickers so kids can decorate it themselves. They are blue, pink, and green and include cat faces, paw prints, ladybugs, and octopuses (random, but still cute). Our quadie doesn't have an issue with the back wheels coming unscrewed and falling off like other reviewers have mentioned. The wheels go on an axle and the screws gets tightened into the axle and stays stationary and independent of the spinning wheels. The two minor complaints I have are the assembly and the little compartment in the seat. The assembly screws are TINY. I think arthritic grandparents would have a tough time with them. Getting the handlebar and the front wheels connected was a fiddly process and the instructions (just pictures, no written description) weren't the most helpful. The screw included with the bike is different than the one shown in the instructions. The lid on the seat compartment is way too tight for little kids to pull open themselves. I had to clip off the inner latch with toenail clippers to make it useable. ... show more

Bought for my grandson’s one year birthday, he loved this little bike, he is now two and still loves it. His big brother who is four likes it too, but it is a bit too small for him but sturdy enough to hold him. Highly recommend.

Grandson loves it! Arrived in a timely manner. In good new condition. Easy to assemble, had to remedy back wheel with loctite, as wheel kept backing off when ridden. Not a big deal, and easily fixed. But be aware before purchase this must be something that has been an issue because I read this in previous reviews as well. I took my chances ordered anyway and needless to say it was an issue, but not so complicated it can't be remedied though. Loctite will fix it in a jiffy. You just want to get the screw that loosens as it is ridden seated and locked in, that's where the loctite or maybe even jb weld comes in handy. In the end though my little grandson Loves it and rides it all over the porch when we go outside to play. I don't regret the purchase to spite the issues. ... show more

My 2 year old son loves this little quad bike! He is 35" tall and the seat is in the 3rd setting out of four. The seat adjusts without tools. Well thought out design. Wish I had discovered this bike sooner. It is lightweight so when they get tire of riding it and you have to carry it, it's not a big deal. I take it when we have the vehicle serviced so we can stay out of the waiting room and he rides it around the lot. We also use it on our walk around the yard, it rolls well in the grass and he makes it around the 6 acres with no problem. It's small enough to take about anywhere. Sturdy construction, one bolt for each wheel (they are strong) and not much assembly, it took me longer to put the stickers on it than it took to put together. I wipe off the wheels after being outside and he rides it around the house endlessly. I don't see how you can go wrong with this little quad. ... show more
