Well, the first good news is that these replacements are very high quality. The bad news is there are no instructions nor specific videos for these. I watched every YouTube video for this type of repair and most of them were way too general. I finally decided to do the full disassembly by prying off the back center console panel and removing both entire armrests. The next thing I did was enlist my wife who has way more patience than me and is also a master seamstress to actually attach the new covers. She chose to use the Gorilla Glue contact adhesive glue in a tube vs the brush on glue they show in many of the videos. Attached the “rounded side” of the armrests first and used those paper clips w/ pieces of the old cover (to not damage the new leather) that are shown in the pix. Let them dry overnight. Next morning, put the glue on the straight/center side and stretched the leather and reclipped w/ those paper clips. Note! The small clips do NOT fit on the straight side. Luckily I had some of the larger clips as well for this step. Let dry for a couple of hours then reattached the hinges and glued the plastic covers that are on the inside back on w/ the Gorilla Glue & used some tiny bungee cords to hold the entire assemblies back together. Let dry for a few more hours, reinstalled them & reassembled the center console. The 2nd good news is, they look pretty darn good as you can see in the final picture. ... show more
