It’s been a long time since extra-virgin olive oil has made me excited. I know, that sounds odd but I’m half Lebanese Italian and half everything else so let me just tell you, I cannot speak for every single batch of this product that they manufacture but more than once I have gotten some fabulous EVOO from this brand and size bottle. The olive oil has a very nice robust aroma. This is the type of aroma I remember as a child when my father would buy enormous quantities of EVOO in the 2 gallon cans. Okay olive oil

This oil cooked well, and had good, not great flavor. I will use it for everyday cooking, but not as a stand alone olive oil, as in tapenades or with breads.

I’ve been really happy with this 365 by Whole Foods Market Extra Virgin Mediterranean Olive Oil. It has a nice, clean flavor that tastes fresh and balanced — not too bitter or overpowering — which makes it great for everyday use. I’ve used it for: sautéing vegetables marinades salad dressings drizzling over pasta and roasted veggies It works well for all of them. The taste is smooth enough for finishing dishes, but it’s also a practical option for regular cooking, so I don’t feel like I’m “wasting” an expensive oil. The 33.8 oz bottle is a great size and lasts a while, and overall it feels like a really good value for the quality.
